woo hoo! congrats!
Is there anything that you learned or found unexpectedly as a result of nursing her for 3 years? I just finished one year with Liam and am curious what ladies have to say.

I wouldn't really say that I've learned anything except that you never know how your going to feel about nursing your child as they reach certain ages until it happens. I know I thought it would be weird to nurse a 3 year old but it's funny how time goes by. One day I was nursing a infant and the next day he was 3 LOL. I've found this time it's actually harder for me to picture nursing Silas until he self weans like I did with Gideon. But I'm sure it will just happen naturally.

That makes sense! Yeah, I find that nursing a 1 year old doesn't seem as strange anymore as it did 11 months ago! I plan to let Liam nurse until he self-weans, too. I really like having that connection to him.
