Hi everyone!! I thought I'd post my 34 week update. I still can't believe that after nearly 4 years of trying that we're getting ready to have the baby.

I've had a lot of stuff going on the past month. I had two showers - both were out of town - one with DH's family and one with mine. The showers were nice but with me still working full-time, it was a lot of traveling! Then, my husband had the swine flu. I was never vaccinated (none available where I live) but I never got the flu either. After that, he had surgery to repair his torn ACL. It was a bit much for me so I ended up in Labor and Delivery a couple of days after his surgery because I was bleeding and having contractions. Thank goodness that my mom was here helping out so she took me to the hospital. The nurses were awesome and I calmed down once I saw that the baby was fine. My cervix was closed and all of the bloodwork/urine analysis showed no signs of labor so they chalked it up to stress. So, I've been put on "controlled bedrest" - my doctor just wants me to rest for 2 hours after I come home from work everyday.

I had my 34 week appointment yesterday (5 days after I was in the hospital) and I still look good. My OB has found no reason for the bleeding and says baby girl is healthy so I'm staying positive. It's so tough not to worry about this little girl and I know my infertility experience constantly reminds me that I am not immune to bad things. I just keep praying every day! It seems that everytime I pray, I feel the baby move.

Anyway, pregnancy really does fly by. I can't believe how far I've come in this short amount of time and really feel like I'm ready to be a mom. I'm so excited to meet her.

I hope you're all doing well :-)

What a month! Hopefully things will settle down for a bit before your little girl decides to come.
Hmmm, at 34 weeks I was getting antsy for the next 6 weeks to go by, then got the surprise of my life when just two weeks later Connor came. Enjoy the rest of your pregnancy.

What a hectic month!  Sorry to hear about the bleeding/hospital visit.  I hope you're little girl stays in there for at least another month to get all "baked" :)  Can't wait for you to meet her soon!

Glad to hear things are going well.  Yes the pg does really fly by, it's amazing.  Glad to hear you are enjoying it though and especially that you and the baby are healthy.  G/L w/ the rest of your pregnancy.  She'll be here before you know it.
