I decided to take some time off of here after my first failed IVF. Just a little mental break. But I'm back for more!
I am starting my second IVF cycle. I began Lupron a week ago and will get my bloodwork and ultrasound on the 11th, and probably start stims on the 13th. So I will have my retrieval around Thanksgiving (right before).  I feel like I should be doing an insem this cycle so I can make turkey baster jokes, but since we haven't told my husband's family  we are doing this, the humor might be lost on them.  The good thing about doing this around the holiday is I will likely not have to take more than 2 days off of work- which is nice since I took off 5 last time for the retrieval and the transfer.
Does anyone know if the second time around takes more than the first?

Good luck!!  My best friend and a co-worker had a successful 2nd IVF after the first one didn't take.  I'm sending you some sticky dust and praying this is the one!!!
