I feel like Brendan is the only baby I know not walking. He is heading fast to 14 months and he can pull himself up to stand on things, but not on his own.

Alex is walking but I will say that my oldest was 15-16 months before he walked on his own. He talked alot earlier though. I know I was worried about him but the doctor said that normally they will do one or the other better first and he was just a talker. He is almost 8 now and goes like crazy heh. Keep practicing with him and he will get there.

Alex can walk as long as he is holding on to something. He cruises furniture, pushes furniture around (while standing), and climbs up and down stairs like a pro, but he has not taken more than a couple of steps on his own. I am convinced that he just doesn't feel the need to right now, since he has mastered everything else. My stubborn baby. :)

Nothing to worry about yet. Ewan is 13 months and can do about 5 steps without furniture but he is lazy and prefers the speed of his crawl. :) His brother Heath was very much like that then suddenly 5 steps turned into 10 before wimping out and so on :) I think I prefer crawling hehe

I think it's normal for them to either develop communication or walking. Sounds like he decided to tackle his communication skills first. =)

I think Conner could walk if he wanted to he walks between me and daddy but he knows he can get places faster crawling so that is how he is getting around, He does walk holding the walls and furniture too~
I have just come to realize that Conner will do things when he is good and ready not when I want him too LOL!
Dont worry he will do it when he is ready!

We're not walking either, but shes been very vocal from very young and knows alot of words. shes more brains than braun! not interested in walking, i stand her up to encourage her to take steps but she just bends her knees and sits down! she cruises the furniture and walks with her walker but prefers to speed crawl everywhere! lazy monkey

Casen started taking a step or two at 11 months, but that was it. He pretty much crawled everywhere until this week. Now he walks all the time. If he wants to get across the house, he will crawl, but otherwise he walks. It was a sudden and fun thing for us to watch! Literally one day he was crawling and one day he was walking.

Bax is now 14 mos. + 1 week, and started walking on his own about two months ago. Now, he's flat out running, and falling a lot more. I think they all just develop at their own speed. My BFF's daughter is 3 weeks older than Bax, and started walking when she was 9 mos.! DH kept saying that Bax was slow to walk, but after talking to a lot of peeps, found that it's totally normal. Some babies don't walk on their own till 18 or more mos. Bax also didn't roll over or crawl for a long time, so I wouldn't worry about it.
