Anyone have a VBAC after 2 c-sections successfully? : VBAC

I am trying for baby #3. I have found a midwife who supports VBAC and is willing to work with me.

I am just wondering if I can actually do this. Can I deliver a baby vaginally after 2 emergency c-sections!

All my c sections were because of the babies not tolerating labor. I was fine.

You most certainly can if you wish! Don't allow yourself to have self doubt. Visualize your VBAC and get it! Try to look at your previous two births and learn and grow from them. What outside variables/factors affected the situation? Pitocin? Epidural? Monitoring? Extensive cervical checks? Being confined to bed? AROM? Not being allowed to eat or drink? What could have hindered you? What interventions were maybe pushed on you? Some things to think about. All things that could make baby a little off. Perhaps the drop in heart tones was when baby dropped into the birth canal? I don't know your history. But, I do know that the majority of c sections for baby being in distress could have been avoided if interventions were avoided. I can't wait to follow your journey! Hello and welcome! I'm currently pregnant and planning a home vba2c, this is my 4th baby. I think if you already have a midwife willing to take you that is awesome and the best step in getting your vba2c. Like Kristen said look at your previous labors and if there were interventions those can cause a lot of problems with fetal distress. Natural labor is so much easier on babies so you could have a smooth delivery this time with no problems! I would'nt let your past labors hold you back. Good luck TTC!
