Baby showers...... : Pregnancy after Loss

Do you find it hard to go to baby showers? I went to three between the time I lost Brady and the time I conceived Rilee, and I struggled through them because one was my cousin's GF, and the other two were close friends. However, I have not gone to one since I had Rilee, but I was invited to another cousin's shower...and I totally started almost hyperventilating! I was shocked by my reaction and decided at once that I could not go. I have no idea why I did that. I've had a child since my loss, but it just made SO many bad memories come flooding back..... Anyone else find it hard to attend baby showers even though you yourself are pg or a new mommy?

Ya I just make an excuse and promise to send a gift then I send a gift with some one else who is going. having my present at the showers makes it kinda like I am their, and that is the real point of the thing to get lots of free stuff.
