been a long time (pg and m/c ment.)

Hi ladies...it's been a long time since I've been here and so much has happened. After years of ttc with 2 different husbands I had given up hope of ever being able to have another child. My soon to be ex-husband left in August of 2010. In November of 2010 I reconnected with a childhood friend...we will have been together a year this Thanksgiving! Anyhow, in May of this year we found out I was pg!!! I was floored! 1st prenatal estimated me at 9 weeks, but my blood pressure was skyhigh and I was admitted to the hospital. An emergency u/s revealed the fetus measured 8 weeks 2 days with no heartbeat so I was scheduled for d&c. Both Duane and I were devestated. But, some good came out of it. I'm now on meds for hypertension (Norvasc and Metoprolol), my cycle has been more regular since the procedure and best of all, we know I CAN get pg. So, we are trying in earnest again. My OB/GYN said we were safe to try again after I had 1 regular cycle and my blood pressure was in control. I started charting again this month, but not temp...starting with just monitoring my actual cycle. Anyhow, looking forward to getting to know everyone again and praying we all have a short stay here.
