i know after a lot of research that there are many types of cloth diapers, now we live in southern California, and right now we are just hitting 90 degree weather, but the G diapers i have seem to be working quite well, they just seem to dig in just slightly into Lux's legs, but she doesn't seem to mind. she seems to be sweating mostly because it is just all around hot, and not just in her diaper.
i know their diapers are made of hemp, and they seem to breath well.
http://www.gdiapers.com/you can find them online at target and babies r us, and in store at babies r us.
we have 10 outer diapers, and 18 inner hemp diapers, i find these the easiest to use, because i can easily separate the inner from the outer. without getting my hands too dirty. with only 18 inner diapers, i DO have to do at least one load of diapers a day. G diapers also have a disposable liner too, and they are biodegradable. we have a butt load of those ones too, for when we go on trips, so i don't have to lug wet/dirty cloth diapers around all day long.
i also had bought some 'fuzzy bunz' but have yet to try them out. i got the ones that adjust to the baby's growing size. and have yet to adjust them to Lux and try to use them yet. so i can't comment on them, but boy are they soft as all heck.
we also have gotten a bunch of (regular) disposables, we are using them slowly over time, when we really need to. got them as gifts from people who didn't know we were going cloth.
