Cows Milk...

From what I have read and what my doc says, you really should wait until the first birthday. COws milk does not contain the needed nutrients that breast milk or formula have.

I agree with Jennie- also our babies digestive system is still developing and my pedi told me that they may not be able to digest it properly yet. Addison goes for her 9 month check up next week and I will be asking again about this.

Also because I've already noticed that Addie might be a picky eater- I plan on giving her 1 bottle/cup of Infamil step 2 formula which we will start at around 12 months.

My ped recommends on waiting especially if you use formula. Cow's milk is much better tasting than formula and your baby will want the cow's milk versus the formula which they need until age 1 for the nutritional value.
