Doctor update : VBAC

First off, I just want to say thank you to everyone who responded to my post and for all of your support. With as many people around me, mainly just friends, who think I'm crazy for trying to do a vbac instead of just scheduling a c-section, it's nice to have you guys with me encouraging me.
I went to my new doctor today and he will be staying my doctor. I was able to get answers to all of my questions and to voice all of my concerns. He completely supports me doing a vbac as long as there aren't any serious complications. He also supports me having a doula with me if the ban happens to get lifted in time. They actually have a network of doulas that they work with, not that I would have to choose one from that network, but it was nice to hear that he welcomes them and that he thinks they can be a great help to women during that time. There was not a single second from the moment that I walked into that office to the moment I walked out that I felt uncomfortable, which I can't say about my old doctor. I'm really happy that this practice is so much closer to our house (10 min drive instead of 30 min drive) and that the hospital I will be delivering in is so much closer. Everyone there was super nice too. It was a wonderful visit. I was able to breath a sigh of relief when I walked out of the door. I really feel that I have a doctor that will help me achieve my goal of having the birth I wish I would have had the first time. :-)

that's fantastic!!! finding a dr. you trust and who supports you is definitely the most important step towards getting your vbac. hooray!
