How do I upload photos?

- There are two ways to include photos in your post.

- First, if you have an URL to it, you can include it by entering the URL after you click on “Insert Image” from the editor toolbar.

- Second, you can click on the ‘Upload Attachment’ link to browse/select the file that you want to upload and include in your post.

How do I post a video?

- In order to post a video, you would click on the “Insert Video” button on the toolbar and enter the full URL of the video.

I’m used to using Frames. How does this new design utilize the features of frames that I like?

- We’ve tried to have the left rail display the information that you see in the frames version.

- The left rail shows you the posts that are on the board and when you hover over a post, you see the information regarding who posted on it last and the timestamp.

- The “Most Active Topics” shows the most active topics throughout the boards.

- The “My Recent Topics” section displays the recent posts that you’ve responded to.

How do I add my signature?

- Your signature can be added/updated by editing your Community Profile.

- The “Edit Community Profile” link is accessible under the “Resources” section on the Left Rail.

How do I post a ticker? I posted mine, but it only came up as a link. Help? And how do I post more than one ticker?

- After you create your ticker, you need to use BBCode to post your ticker into your signature.

- The ticker generating website usually includes a link to their website as well. Eg: [url=http://daisypath.com][img]http://dv.daisypath.com/FpZ7m5/.png[/img][/url]

- However, you really only need the image part ([img]) of it. Eg: [img]http://dv.daisypath.com/FpZ7m5/.png[/img]

- In order to post more than one ticker, simply place them one after another. Eg:

o [img]http://dv.daisypath.com/FpZ7m5/.png[/img]

o [img]http://dv.daisypath.com/vrgZm5/.png[/img]

- HINT: If copy & pasting the BBCode from the ticker generating website onto the signature doesn’t look correct, try copy & pasting the BBCode onto a simple text editor such as Notepad first and then copy & paste from Notepad onto the signature.

Will I, as a host, be able to see a history of all the posts by a member?

- All members will be able to see the history of all posts by a member from the members’ profile page.

Will I be able to search through posts?

- You will be able to search through posts using the search textbox at the top of the page and selecting the BZBoards option from the dropdown.

How many pages will we be able to go back through on a thread?

- There’s no limit on pagination. You’ll be able to view all the posts on a board ever made, through pagination.

How will the reply notification work?

- When you subscribe to reply notification, you are subscribing to any reply posted to that topic. You will be notified when the first reply is posted. Following that, you will not be notified unless you log in and view that topic.

What is BBCode and what does it mean for me?

- For security reasons, bulletin boards usually no longer allow straight HTML in their posts. BBCode is much safer and less “hacker-friendly.” Go here for a good explanation of what BBCode is all about. http://www.phpbb.com/index.php?mode=bbcode

Since you’ve added time stamps, what time zone are you using?

- We are using Eastern Standard/Daylight Time.
