Fun Formatting Tips for the BabyZone Community Boards

Trying to add flashy characters or images to your BabyZone signature or posts? Use these formatting tips for our community boards.

Now with our new boards you can do all kinds of things to your posts. Of course, try not to get too crazy or it will make the site hard to read. But here is a list of some great sites that will help you get creative when posting on our site. These are all free and we are in no way affiliated with these sites. Feel free to use any smileys you want, just please keep it clean.

Smileys

Follow the instructions on the site you're pulling the smiley from. It usually asks you to click on the smiley and copy the code to paste into your post. Make sure you always choose BBCode. HTML will not work.

Glitter text, Binkies, Scrolling text

Follow the instructions on the site. You have a couple of choices of how you'd like to enter your glitter text once it's created.

1. Right click on the image and select "save link location."
2. Go to the BabyZone post editor and choose the photo button. Hit Cntrl+V to paste in the link location of the text. Your glitter text will save as an image.

OR

1. Create your glitter text. Make sure you use a glitter text generator that will create BBCode. Some only do HTML.
2. Copy the BBCode and simply paste it into your post editor and hit submit. Some code may require you to straighten out the letters. Sometimes it puts a letter on each line, so just edit your post normally to get it to look the way you want.

Remember you have a half hour to edit your post from the time you hit submit, so go ahead and adjust it as you need.
