I got a BFP on last wednesday, I was bleeding but nothing like a normal period. I had really bad heartburn which I only get when I am pregnant and my breasts were sore and felt really heave. I went to the Dr on Monday for a HCG test and my level was 39 so they wanted me to come back in 48 hrs to recheck it so I did today and I just got my results back and it only went up by 1. I saw a note from the Dr saying to come back in a week and have it checked again to see what is going on. I still have extreme fatigue, breasts feel full/tender and mild cramping on and off.
Has anyone else had this happen to them and was still pregnant? Is this a chemical pregancy? Did I miscarry? I can't seem to find any real answers when I google search and they my Dr has already gone home for the night.

I am sorry to say, but it sounds like a chemical or a very early m/c. One of my friends had the same thing happen in January, and it took maybe about 10 days for AF to show. Her doctor's office tracked her HCG # back down and cleared her to start trying again right away because she was so early in pg. She was pg a couple of weeks later and is now due in November. I am not sure this is what's happening to you, but just in case, I wanted to show you there is hope to conceive again quickly. I hope I didn't upset you. That was not my intention at all. GL

NewMamaKim- no you didn't upset me at all. I am happy for any advise on what could possibly be going on. I was at a loss on what to do. I did call my other Dr and both of them agreed that I should get my blood tested again on Wednesday to see what my numbers say. Thank you =)
Sockmonkeys- No I haven't tested with a HPT test recently...I haven't had any but I am going to go get some to check that way too.

Update....so I took a HPT this morning and it was a BFN. I am still scheduled to go get my HCG levels tested tomorrow so hopefully we can get a green light to start trying again. =)
