Hi all, I am new here and don't speak TTC very well...husband and I found out we were pregnant August 1st of this year, and 2 weeks later (7 weeks) I miscarried the baby while at an out-of-state convention.  After returning home, my doctor did not want to see me, but ordered a weekly blood test to check the levels of hCG (to make sure they were dropping).  Is this a typical experience for everyone here?  I was surprised that the doctor did not want to see me, but this was my first pregnancy so maybe I'm just not used to it...anyway, it has been a couple of months now, and I have had one AF since the m/c.  However, I am now on CD 28 and my BBTs remain extremely low (96.7 to 96.9) with no signs of ovulation.  Can any of you relate, and does this sound like a problem?  Does it typically take more than a couple of cycles?  Just want to know...thinking about TTC again...

oh, I am so sorry for your loss. As far as your ? Ya if you have a  loss blood work is normal. i am suprised you did not mention a u/s though. Perhaps after the doc gets your blood work he will. As far as ovulation goes it can be right away to months it all
depends. when I had my m/c I counted that as the first day of AF.  For TTC but you should count your next AF as your first once. If you really want to know if you ovulate Get the
clear blue fertility monitor it is expensive but so worth it. it is
much more accurate than the dumb sticks, it measures 2 hormones, it
tells you on the screen when you ovulate and it stores all your cycles
for up to 6 months so you can track your patterns easy and have them
printed out so your doc can see for his/her self what is going on in
case later you need extra care. sorry again for your loss, GL. post
hear any time this is a nice place to be Image As far as you TTC questions you will get much more feed back from the TTC after loss board as their are many ladies who have been at this for a long time. the other board is

I agree. I think it depends on the person - AF and ovulation can be different after m/c so I wouldn't worry too much.  I'd consult with your doc though if you have any doubts or worry.
