Latest Doc Appt!

Brendan was sick 2 times I had his 18 month appt scheduled, so we finally got that done at 19.5 months :-)

Basically she told me he is perfect, which I already knew!

Here are stats!

Height - 33 inches - he grew 3 inches since his 15 month appt! (75th %tile)

Weight - 28 pounds, 12 ounces! Officially 21 pounds bigger than his birthweight! We've worked so hard at this.

Head - 50cm? It's ridiculously big - 90%tile. We knew he would have a big head.


For those not on fb, we took our first family vaca to Michigan. Had a blast. Brendan adjusted to the rental house just fine, except the last night he was up and turned out he had a double ear infection. We went blueberry picking, and he found out that the ones that fell off the bushes were the sweetest ;-) Had some time to take a trip to a winery for myself too - so fun!

We are starting to look at toddler beds, but doc said no reason to rush it right now and to try and keep him in it as long as its not harmful. Hopefully until we need it for someone else. Also trying to break him of the pacifier habit. Time is rough at work right now, very demanding, so I am going to break that habit when I have more time - any recommendations? It's just used at nighttime but it's still going to be a battle - we didnt even realize he had a name for it til we tried to go to bed without it one night - "paaa"

For #2 we are working on it. Last month was wacky b/c I was in Nashville and I think that we either missed it or it came later and we thought it was over by then. Hopefully this next week or so will bring us better luck.

My best friends wedding is in 3 weeks. I didnt lose the 15 pounds I wanted to, but I look decent enough. Ha. I wrote a pretty kickass speech, so I'm pumped about that. If I do get pregnant, I will find out a week before. I will just pray that the morning sickness will not have kicked in too much by then!
