Hello Friends,

It has been a while, and I am sad I did not keep everyone updated on my sweet, sweet son who is now gone from this world. Jared Rolan passed away October 23rd. My dh and sweet daughter, Kyrsti (11 yrs. old) and my new little one (Violet - One month old) are left with a gaping whole that will never be filled. We will never get over this, but somehow we will learn to deal with it. Give all of your sweet little ones a hug and kiss for me, for I would love to do the same to mine right now but will not be able to do so until we meet again in Paradise. I'm posting his funeral in two parts on my face page tonight if anyone is interested. Love, Julie

OMG! I'm so so so sadden to hear this! I can't imagine the unimaginable grief you must be going through at a time like this.
Do you mind me asking what happened? Was he sick?

I'm so sorry for your loss! I can't even begin to imagine the grief and sorrow you have been through and are still facing. You and your family will be in my prayers. You will see him again, you will be able to hug him and hold him in your arms again. Until then, I pray for your strength and willingness to go on. My heart is mourning for you and your family.

Hi Julie,
First, big hugs and much love to you. I just watched the service on FB, and the things that were said by your husband and father (correct?) were absolutely beautiful. I can't imagine the pain and sorrow you are going through, but know that you and Jared and the rest of your family are loved and are in all of our thoughts and hearts. Please don't forget about us here, we all care about you and want you to stay in contact with us. I know there is nothing that can be said to really ease your pain, but I know we are all here any time you want or need to talk or a shoulder to lean on.

I hope you are able to take joy in your family and in the memory of Jared, though many tears may be shed. My heartfelt condolences to you. Thank you for reminding me that even though parenting can be hard, the tough parts are nothing compared to the love for your child.

I am so sorry for your loss. I cannot imagine your heartache. I remember you posting about worrying if he was eating enough formula etc and that your dr was very 'chill', but I don't think we heard much from you since, I will be praying for you all for days to come.

He drowned, Britany. I'm still in utter shock over the whole terrible nightmare. One minute, it was close to naptime but he was happy watching Baby Einstein so I go to feed my 3 week old and the next my daughter (who had been in the shower) is screaming and pulling him out of our pool ...... he couldn't open our back door, so we suspect our dog opened it for him (as the dog has before). TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE is all I can say. Thanks for all the prayers and thoughts, everyone.

I am just so sorry, I'm sitting here in tears as I type this. I will keep all of you in my prayers. I wish I had some words of comfort for you, I'd love to reach out and just hug you right now. Just know that you will one day hold your son again, and he will always be with you.

I'm so sorry to hear that. At this point, if I were you, I'd bolt up that door really well so that no one could open it so Miss Violet would be super safe. What a terrible tragedy! It makes me want to get into ISR again but I don't have the money for training and doing online classes for graphic design. I'm just sitting here in tears for you. If there is anything I can do, let me know.
