I read a lot of natural birthing books. I think its important to remember that epidurals do not come risk free and sometimes do not even work. I'd rather be prepared and ready for an unmedicated birth then waiting for the epidural and it not take. I can't imagine how out of control of my labor experience that would make me feel. Welcome to the board, its nice to have you here!Mon Nov 02, 2009 9:33 pm

Go March babies! I had a Bradley birth. I strongly urge you to hire a doula and take a good childbirth class (and NOT the one offered by the hospital) lol
Welcome! Oh, and just ignore the naysayers....let them fuel you to prove them all wrong.

Unless you are lucky enough to come from a family of natural birthers, you will be listening to negative talk all the way up to delivery. It's hard not to listen to them all but put the stories into perspective. By chosing to educate yourself about birth and realizing that your body is designed to actually **birth** a baby, you have already shown the type of mother that you aspire to be.
Congratulations again and please feel free to ask us anything!
BTW...Way to go March babies!!!
