For those who have trouble finding the post after a little bit...once you post on this thread you should be able to locate it on the left hand column under "My recent topics". Hope that helps some of you.
Me: Well i just got back from KY, went to visit family...it was fun however the car ride & time change was rough. MY DH was determined to make good time so he wouldnt let me stop and eat when i needed to so i got a little sick b/c my belly is still on the old time and i was hungry for lunch at like 10!! MY DS hasnt adjusted to the time change either...he wakes up at 5:30 and goes to bed at 7. Maybe it will get better.
Has everyone told their familes etc that they are pregnant?

Everyone: Are you in maternity clothes yet? What store did you buy from? How are they sized(run small or big)? For jeans, did you buy the full panel or low-rise elastic waist? I'm asking b/c I went shopping for maternity jeans this weekend, with no luck
I live in Bermuda & you think people get pregnant here, but they don't have many shops. Only 2 stores had a maternity section. & only 1 of those had jeans. I tried them on, after looking at the $90 price tag, & they fit real good in the hip & waist but were super long. MY MIL is here visiting, she said she can hem them, but she would have to take them home b/c I don't sew or have a machine. I really needed them now, & for $90 they better be perfect! So, my only other option is on-line. I'm going to give you my dimentions, yikes! 41" hips(I have a big butt), 36" waist, 30" inseam(I"m 5'2').. HELP me find some great jeans please!Mon Nov 02, 2009 11:07 am

Me- Nothing much is going on here.. My 3rd DA is tomorrow and I will finally be able to hear my babys heartbeat
I am so excited about that one.. I am starting to be able to eat more foods.. but there are things that still sound better then others...lol Well ladies hope all is well

Hopeful: try Oldnavy.com or motherhood maternity. I'm not sure how their shipping goes for Bermuda, but for the prices, you'll get a lot more selection than the stores you have available. Full panel is better when you're further along, but I still don't like how it feels on my belly when I'm big. Right now, I'm wearing the below the belly pants and they're O.K. Otherwise, I'm just wearing my old jeans that are low-waisted. I won't be able to do that much longer, though.
LuvBeingamommy: Isn't it funny how we look forward to doctor's appointments when we're pregnant? It's so exciting to hear the heartbeat.
Me: our dog is back. It didn't work out for the other family, but at least they were honest. We're still hoping to find her a good home before the baby comes. DS woke me up last night coughing and needing mommy, so I didn't get much sleep at all. Happy Monday to all!

Me: I cannot stand not having doctor's appointments. I've already had 3 u/s and waiting another month is too long!! I ordered the Baby Beat just to make sure they are okay until then, but I was supposed to have a perinatal appointment sometime next week and haven't heard from them. Ugh!!
I am 12w5d today and I am measuring at almost 5 months!! I didn't want to tell my kids from work yet but it is so obvious because I've only gained 4 pounds and it is all in the tummy. People are starting to rub it, which I think is cute. I've heard naturally fertile people say it is annoying, but I like it. I've had panic attacks at the sight of pregnant bellies for the last year and now I have my own!! Yay! We already told our whole family because we had to have help when on bedrest from IVF so they wanted an answer right away.

Hopeful: will you have a chance to do any maternity clothes shopping while your in new york? that would be so much better than shipping i would presume.
Aubs: bummer about the dog...maybe next time have a no return policy lol, i know you were ok with them bringing him back, i hope you find a home soon.
Me: my egg sandwich was delish!!! i even got some dumplings and mac n cheese to go for my 2pm snack lol....im well on my way to gaining 60lb again! i really hope not though i think 135lb would be ideal for me...we'll see.

Hopeful: I'm not sure what to tell you. I have gotten three pairs of maternity pants, two jeans. One is the low underbelly panel and I like them for now, however my mom said I will probably want the over the belly pants when I get further along. The other is an adjustable waist jean that are a little big to wear now. And the last is a black pant with an elastic adjustable waist, which I haven't worn yet. All need to be hemmed, I too am 5'2". If you don't have a sewing machine, you can get hem tape, which just requires and iron. I typically wear an 8-10, so I got Medium on the sizes. I got all mine from JCPenney and JCPenney.com
Aubs: I'm sure you will find a good home for your puppy.
Me today: I'm okay. Kind of bored, but happy because the sun is shining again. The sun makes my lab pup happy too! She's been out most of the morning, and now she is in, but sleeping in the sun coming through the window. Really cute. I feel good, though nothing still sounds all that good to eat. I think that has to do with everything that sounds good requires cooking and I hate cooking for just myself, and then having to 2-3 times a day is worse! DH works wierd, long hours and doesn't like hardly anything warmed over (and even if its fresh he is a very picky eater and I am bored with the stuff he likes) so I don't ever really cook for us. On a really happy note we are planning a weekend getaway with our friends and their kids in a few weeks to Branson, MO. It should be lots of fun! Its the Christmas celebration down there.

May: I can't believe your measuring 5 months already! So cute! My boss touched me belly the other day. She said "You know Ms.Lindsey, a lot of people here are going to be doing that." I said that's ok b/c you guys are my Bermuda family. I don't have anyone else to do it. Bermudians are very family orientated & old school.
Befu: Ewww, eggs! Didn't really like them before, now I really don't like them at all. Pizza is my thing now. Oh & wings. I had to make my own b/c I looked everywhere for no breading & old bay. I actuaaly fried them in oil & they turned out just like the restaurants back home. And I love that movie. It's so cute. That's funny that he was walking into people's houses! I guess he's not shy.

Aubs: I don't think I'll be shy. It's hard to say.
What is it about people that they think touching complete strangers and their children is okay! Never once have I seen a pregnant person in a store and thought, she' pregnant, therefore her belly is open territory, I'm gonna feel! Or gee, that baby is so cute, I'm gonna touch it. Honestly, I have had a lot of pregnant family and friends and have only ever touched 2 baby bumps.. The only people whose belly's I have touched was my BFF because she said "dana, the baby's kicking, come feel" and my friend who just had her baby a month ago because I saw the baby kicking. But even then I asked her first before I touched her belly. Okay, unscheduled rant over.

BeFu: Glad you had a great trip! I always worry about having to pee on road trips, preggo or not. -- Our sons could have gone together. DS was Woody, light up cowboy boots and all! He loved it! I thoguth he'd be happy with a few houses, but he made my brother and sister take him to various houses for almost an hour. A few times he forgot to say, "Trick or treat," and would instead say, "Candy please!"
Aubs: Toattly stinks that your dog didn't work out with that other family. I hope you find a nice, compatible family soon. It's got to be stressful to deal with!
LuvPups: Fingers crossed for your next interview! How exciting! And I'm glad the sun is still shining by you... it makes such a difference! It's cold here with the heavy winds, but the sun shining makes it do-able! -- I never had someone I didn't know touch my belly. Even my co-workers, who are like my family, will ask the first few times. Mostly just my family and close friends.
Hopeful: I love my Target mat jeans for early in the pregnancy. They have a stretchy waste band, and they are one of the few mat jeans I have found taht have loops for a belt for those days I feel a bit smaller. I agree with pp.. loved the over the belly panel when I had a huge baby belly.. so comfortable, and I loved the support! Good luck shopping!
May: I love my doctor appointments. I have another check-up tomorrow, and I can't wait! I'm considered "geriatric" thsi time around, so I go every 3 weeks, and I am really enjoying the more frequent visits. The heartbeat.. ahhh... I could never get tried of hearing that! -- My friend, who had twins, said she popped and showed really early, but then she slowed down. Who knows? How exciting, though! I love the baby belly!
Me: Having a great day. I only have 2 days of school, and then 3 LOOOOOONNG days of parent-teacher conferences. But I do get out early on Friday, so that will be a nice treat after my super long week. -- I have a baby belly officially. I'm enjoying it. None of my students have asked yet, but I'm sure a few parents will. I love finally having a belly and looking preggo. -- My one complaint.. I have almost constant headaches! No full-blow migraines, but I'm tired of the nagging, constant headache. I might break and have a caffeinated soda with dinner tonight and see if that helps.

cats: good luck with conferences this week.
me: today I'm home sick with the boy again. His temp was 102.0 yesterday afternoon and is down to 100.2 this morning, so I can't take him to daycare. Poor kiddo can't catch a break! Good news is that I have sick time to spare and I'll go in for about 4 hours later today when DH gets home.

Cats: i actually posted a topic yesterday about my constant headache of about 2 weeks now. I cant bear the thought of carbonation still and i hate to take meds so im just dealing for now but they make me feel terrible and completely unmotivated.
May: twins at 7lb each!!! thats incredible!!! I never got stretch marks with DS so i hope im that lucky again...they say they are hereditary and my mom and sis are stretch mark free so maybe i will be too. Then again when carrying twins im not sure you can avoid them, maybe your body butter will help! It certainly feels good anyways.
Me: well i went to cracker barrel again today for lunch lol. i think i could eat the egg sandwich everyday! My headache is better right now, im trying to stay hydrated and that seems to be helping. I was sick as a dog last night. i couldnt even eat dinner, i tried but i had to spit it out b/c i thought i would puke if i swallowed it. My pregnancy with DS was so simple...this go round im learning that anything goes and i have to take it one day at a time. I dont know if i will ever feel 100% again during this pg but maybe i will.

BeFu and May: I have had a regular Coke for the last 2 days, and my headaches are gone. I won't do Diet Coke (that whole fake sugar thing worries me), but the caffeine seems to be helping. As you said, BeFu, every pregnancy is different. I had no caffeine last time and I fel t great. This time, my body needs something, so I give in to the urge. It seems to be helping.
BeFu: the egg sandwich sound yummy! I might have to get one this weekend! I am still craving crappy forzen pizza, preferable Totino's or Tombstone. I know it's not great fo rme, but it's the one thing that always sounds good.
LuvPups: When is the next part of the interview? Can't wait ti hear!
Me: Had a doc appt today. Baby is measuring with an April 27 due date (based on the NT scan). Doc said we'll look at timing down the road in March. No official due date changes until then based on how baby is growing. Had another ultrasound today; baby is snug in there and wiggling like a worm. No view for the sex of the baby yet, but I'm still leaning towards a girl. We'll see in December.
Have a few crazy long days coming up, so I won't be on. I hope you all have a great week! Take care!

Today: So as I mentioned above I had my second interview today, which was actually interviews with 3 different people. It was sort of intimidating especially since the first person I interviewed with was the COO and the second a manager, and the third a direct assistant/would be my boss for the top guy on site. Phew! I think it went pretty well! I am one of 6 candidates for 2 positions. I got good vibes from the lady who would be my boss, and the manager, but the COO was very unreadable. I think it went well, but unlike the other ladies, she didn't show reactions as I answered questions. The other two really liked some of my answers and said so. I should hopefully hear something next week or the week after! They are going to cut down to 3 people and bring us back in one more time. She said the goal was to have the candidate working by the end of November. Now, I did disclose my pregnancy to the lady who would be my boss. I did this because when she told me when the start date would be, I felt obligated as I would only be there about 5 months before I would need maternity leave. When I told her she had a very positive reponse. She said they can work around that, its not a problem at all, they were doing so for 5 people as we speak. She said congratulations and that's so exciting. She also told me that the COO I interviewed with had only transeferred to her current positon 2 months before her baby was born. I am really glad I told her, it will really help establish trust should I get the position.
By the way, I feel great! I'm a little concerned I have minimal round ligament pain when other girls less far along then me seem to have more. Should I be?
Sorry so long!
