Nursery Pics!

Slowly, it's coming along. (You can see the bassinet in the room, but that'll be making its way into my and my husband's bedroom when we're a little closer to our little lady's arrival).

We're in a rental, and have a possible move on the immediate horizon, so we're trying to keep it as minimal as possible so here's what we have! We do have a crib, but aren't putting it together in anticipation of that move since Baby will be sleeping in the pack 'n play with us for the first few months. That being said, I still couldn't help painting a little something for Baby D. I figure it still needs to feel homey!

Here is our nursery so far. (I'll have to post a quick before pic after this post, lame!) We repainted it, and also put up new crown molding and a new chair rail behind the crib. I'm trying to stick with white furniture, but also using my mom's old dresser that her grandpa (my great grandpa) made for her. Got the vintage decal-ed dresser at Goodwill for $20! I put pom-poms on the curtains and lamp and we have a super soft, white blanket for the crib. The rug is my fave!

It's been hard since I'm team green to resist anything PINK, but I figure if it does turn out to be a girl, I can throw plenty of unicorn stuffed animals in here. I'll also attach a pic in the next post of an appliqué wall hanging I made for baby that I am so excited to hang up. We're kinda waiting to do hang the final touches until baby gets here, because we have options for either boy or girl.

Whoa to the before pics micaela lolol!! Looks great and I loooove the rug!!! All the rooms look great!!! Good job girls. Dh is furiously making an addition in our house as I type so we just may have a nursery by spring time :D. I sure hope so!!!

I haven't gotten the window treatments up yet, but they're coming!! DH picked out the stuffed animals and the golden books on our most recent trip, and all the awesome cute clothes are gifts from friends. (Can you tell they all know what sports fans we are?!)

Leslie, I love stealing ideas from Etsy and recreating my own stuff. So much fun.

Ok I want to know where everyone is finding these dressers with the hutch on them? I so want one for Natalee's room but can't find one I can afford.

Ack, SO jealous!! We started remodeling our bathroom back in December... and most of the the bathroom is currently still in my future baby room! Along with the mess of two costumes I'm sewing for the local theater. Along with working almost full time, whew. Two months left!! I hope lil dude takes his time.

My mom painted and completed my nursery in about 36 hours. We build the glider and crib together, but other than that she did it all for me and baby Savannah

So we have some more work done on the nursery! All that is left is window treatments (still waiting on proper curtain rods), the delivery of the glider, and putting the decals and prints up on the walls Yay!
