Our New Look!

I miss the lines between the posts - they kind of all run in to one another now. Obviously they're white or something - when stuff is posted in grey boxes you can tell one thing from another.... I also miss the stars showing me where the new posts are.

I am sorry to be blunt but it is horrible. It is to bright and the whole white thing gives me a headache. I also don't like that when we log in we dont see how many weeks we are anymore. I wish it would have stayed the other way. I don't think I will be on much during the day with the brightness. The post's now run together and its difficult to see where each one stops.

To be perfectly honest and blunt, it is the ugliest website I have ever seen. It looks like a 4 year old designed it, except for the fact that the graphics look weirdly like sperm. Everything text related looks like one giant run on sentance. I have been part of Babyzone since 2007 and this is by far the worst "new look" I have ever seen. Just because it is part of Disney doesn't mean it needs to look like it was drawn by crayons.

Also the text area has become ridiculously narrow. There is so much wasted space on the sides for those horrid graphics, and I have to scroll and scroll just to get through one topic.

I am sorry but it is soooooo BAD. It is too bright and the whole white thing makes it silly. Where can I find how many weeks I am ( It was the best part in the previous look, I believe). I wish it would have stayed the other way. I don't think I will enjoy logging in anymore.

I'm sorry but I really don't like it.

First of all, since the "new look" my calender is way off and this is the main reason I've been on this site.
Also, I don't like how I can no longer see how many weeks and days I am.

I think I will be closing my account, and trying some other site.

Well, it is very busy looking and bright. A couple of things I have noticed
1. The font is too big
2. The topics all seem to run together without a natural break.
3. It is harder to tell when there is a new reply to a topic. The star was nice, the bold is harder to see especially at a quick glance
4. A lot of the title of a post is cut off, so people will miss warnings in parentheses (p/g ment. m/c ment, loss ment etc).
5. The pop ups that come up constantly because your cursor hits it are annoying.

I also want to add that there is no border or anything around our signatures so it is hard to distinguish where the post ends and the signature begins.

I also agree that I miss the stars, it is hard to tell whether it is bolded or not. And there is a lot of wasted space.

I don't like it. Why do those crazy colored blobs have to be on the screen all the time? Can you take those off the community part? It makes it seem like a child website when this is supposed to be for moms.

I have already commented on the Ideas for Improvement board. That seemed like the place to go to comment. I was looking around for some sort of notification/information today and found this. The Welcome board is not frequented by everyone. A sticky would have been nice.

To echo many of these posts, I think the new site looks AWFUL! Too bright, way too much empty white space which is giving me a headache, no place which shows how many weeks/days pregnant, no lines separating posts, graphics too child-like, etc, etc.....

Please go back to the old look!

I also am noticing that we no longer get to "subscribe" to a post to get emails when a new post has been posted. I would really love to have that back. It is a great way to track which posts I have posted in and where, and it helps with my response time too.

Yes. These are the three things that are bothering me most. The font of the signatures needs to be smaller than that of the posts, or at least have a line between post & siggy, something. The white space on the sides is annoying, and I miss the stars for new replies.

I don't completely hate the weird blobs - they will take getting used to, but everything does.

I"m not liking it at all either!! I miss the "grid" set up when you click on the DDC's....now everything runs into each other, I miss the stars when new posts are added (you can barely tell that they are "bold" instead) I also miss the lines/dividers between the posts...

Everything is too big and that aqua blue color hurts my eyes...not very soothing or appealing.

I left BZ years ago when you switched to the very pastel colors, and I hope I don't have to leave again...

I also hate that you have to see an ad before it will give you the option to go to your due date clubs....

I don't like that when you accidentally "hover" over the tabs at the top of the page that whole giant box opens over your page, its a pain to try to get rid of it...If I want to see the tabs, I'll click on them!

Bring back the old version!! We don't need things to be changed that often!

I noticed those issues right away too, and they have both been bugging me.

When I am typing a reply and get to the bottom of the box, rather than getting more space and a scroll bar so that I can seen what I am writing, the page is autoscrolling to where the line I am typing is just off the bottom of the box and then continuously flickers while I type. It is extremely annoying and makes it basically impossible to meaningfully participate in discussions with quotes going back and forth. Is there any chance of this getting attention faster than all of the issues that were raised after the last new design and were never changed? I can see a lot of people leaving over this, myself included, because if I can't see what I'm typing I don't really see the point of posting on this boards.

Giant dislike! what is going on with this design? the drop down menu are super annoying and it's harder to navigate. The only improvement I would have had you make before was a like button on replys and posts.

Please go back to the way it was plus My Ipad has been having issues, and it won't let me get to the boards. Sorry but this is a fail for you guys, you can do better.

It's very "disney". Bland. Boring. Uninspiring. I liked the old look better because it had pizaz. The colors were bright and fun. It made me want to look at the posts. This is just another boring newsletter.

I miss the lines, too! It's too much white...it gives me a headache to look at the screen too long.

I hate it as well. It is ALL bad! I might not be staying much longer.

I actually don't mind it at all!

The one thing that I really really miss is the stars next to new topics or topics that have new posts. The bold is a bit hard to see and I cannot see it at all when I'm viewing from my cell phone. I'd be happy with the new look if we could just add the stars back in

While I'm not a fan of the blots on the sides, it doesn't bother me too much. How ever, the others have stated that posts run together, the drop down tabs, and the stars (or lack there of) are an unwelcome change and I have to agree! I also have to add that the large orange space at the bottom of every page is also quite irritating. I get that this board is Disney and all, but the bottom link's do not need to take up so much room!

I also have an issue with the total white of the majority of the back ground. I have migraines and eye problems but this new look hurts to much to stay on very long! This is the best online forum I have found for TTC but if it is going to cause this much stress, I have to say I may give it up and just go at this with no support.

I despise it. Strong word, yes, and it fits. My calendar isn't working properly, the quick links aren't as useful, and it's almost impossible to find (or even want to find) anything in the visual clutter. It's like you set your website up next to my kids at mealtime, caught everything they flung, and then said "yes!" Please make it go away! Maybe this would be appealing to a 5 year old, but I think moms are generally overstimulated enough without feeling like they just wandered into a finger painting disaster.
