What are you trying now?

Hi I'm new to the message boards, but I thought it might help to talk to others that might be going thru what I am.

I've be TTC for just over a year with no luck and irregular cycles which I have no reason for since my thyroid levels are normal. So now I'm on my first cycle of Clomid. I started on CD5 and I'm on CD 16. Really hoping it works the first time around.

@ SmartiePie, do you have any news yet?

I'm on round 4 of Femara after 3 anovulatory cycles. I guess that means I'm on cycle 7. If it doesn't work this time, I'll get an HSG next month the see if my tubes are blocked. DH and I are trying 2 more cycles after this one. If I'm not PG by then, we'll probably take a break.

Hi I am new to the board. My name is Chelsey and I am 23 years old. My husband and I have been married for 3 years and we have been trying for 15 months. I got off birth control in September of 2010 and I found out I was pregnant at the end of January, but unfortunately we lost our baby due to a miscarriage 3 days after I found out we were expecting. We have decided to seek some help from our doctor. I am on the second round of IUI and now on just finished my 2 ww. I was on Letrozole day 5-12 with only one strong follicle produced. We then went ahead for the IUI on the 6th of April (CD 15) and started progesterone and estriodol after that. Today I tested and have a negative test (CD 29)...is there any hope to get a positive in the next few days? I am really beginning to become discouraged because my dream has always been to have a beautiful baby wrapped in my arms. Anyone else experienced a positive even after day 14?

Welcome chels91209! I'm so sorry to hear of your recent loss.

Officially on the IVF road! I had an AFC that showed 9 antrall follicles! I was super ecstatic to hear that . We will meet with our RE on May 8 to sign consents and finalize our calendar! I'm reallyo hoping this works!!!

Chelsey, when you go back to the doctor again please talk to them about your options. Depending on what the issue is, the IUI may not work for you two (it didn't for me). I did IVF to have my son. It's worth the conversation.

I am officially on the IVF road as well. I am on day 4 of my injections of gonal-f in the am and menopur in the pm. I go in tomorrow for a u/s and blood work to see if they need to change up my meds or keep me on track. I am 25 and my dh and I did a vascetomy reversal before this that failed so we are hoping for the best the first time around. I am only thinking positively cause I can't afford to think negatively and I am too excited to think bad thoughts right now. LOL! I am praying for everyone so maybe we will all be on a similar due date board!!
