So, I've been looking into different birthing methods and I had never heard of hypnobirthing before. Have any of you ladies tried it before? My OB suggested it to me since I told him I wanted to have a natural birth. It looks pretty cool to me especially if it works the way I've seen it in videos on YouTube.
Anyone know someone who has done this or has experience it before?

I've heard of it (haven't tried it) but have you checked out the Natural Childbirth board here? I think some of the ladies there might have experiences with it.

I'm planning on using hypnobirthing this time! I'm reading the book right now and really enjoying it. I asked about it on the natural birth board but nobody that replied had actually tried it before. If you go through the birth stories there though you'll find a few where the women used hypnobirthing.

I actually just signed up for one about 10 minutes ago! I lucked out because my midwife put me in touch with a former patient of hers who is starting to do classes, and since this is her first actual class (she's done private sessions before) she's only charging $100 for 6-8 weeks. We start Tuesday, I'll let you know how it goes
