Ok so the last several days I have been having pelvic pain and pressure. Along with cramping. Sometimes it actually wakes me at night. But I kind of have chalked it up to growing pains. Well this morning I had really light pink spotting. Nothing bad at all and haven't seen any since. I haven't DTD for about a week or 2 since I have been hurting so much. I put a call into my Dr but of course he's on vacation and I really dont care for the nurse practitioner. She still hasn't returned my call. Are any of you ladies experiencing this. I didn't go through anything like this with my last pregnancy until I was much further along... I hate to over react but I dont' want to under react either!

DEFINATELY get it checked.... In the end, you won't care if you like the Nurse-Prac, as long as the baby is okay!!!

went to see the nurse practitioner. Turns out that I am having real contractions. My cervix isn't quite dilated to a 1 but it has softened. I have a yeast infections and it is causing me to contract... Just thought I would update you ladies.

Oh my! I'm really glad you got it checked out! So they think once you get the infection taken care of the contractions will go away right? I'm thinking good thoughts for you!

Yes you could start preterm labour but you need to be on bed rest and know if you have cramping and contraction you need to contact you on right away. With my second daughter my cervix started shortening at 18 weeks I went on light duty bed rest. I started dilating to a 1 at 26 weeks and the. At 28 weeks was a 2. And went to the hospital to stop contractions and got two steroid shots for babies lungs. Thankfully labour stopped and I got to go home at 30 weeks my baby girl came early at 36 weeks but was healthy and able to come home two days after. I say just know your body and if anything feels not right call ur ob
