A year and a half later he proposed and we were married almost exactly a year later (a year and 2 weeks). On our 1st anniversary, I found out I'm pregnant!

And
a bit of your TTC/couple story. Well this is a funny story ... me and
my partner( Kieron) moved in together in may and, and me and the girls
watch that movie marly and me and it made me want a puppy, and when i
mentioned the ideal of getting puppy, kieron turned to me and siad
"let's have a baby " at first i laughed it off but one day when we
where walking in the plaza i was like lets go look at puppys and he
said babe lets skip the whole puppy stage and have a baby, and this
time i knew he was not just joking about having a baby and i said your
seriouse you want a baby, and he said i am positive, LATER THAT DAY,
we where at his MOTHERS house and she brought up the topic of having a
Grandchild and said that we should have her a grandchild...and thats
how we got started....

And a bit of your TTC/couple story: I got off B/C a year ago this month. I was hoping to just let nature takes its course and get pregnant without really "trying." Unfortunately my cycles have been really off ranging anywhere from 35 days to 50 days. I've been to the doctor a few times and they have run tests. Everything is coming up normal. This cycle was actually 30 days, the most normal I have been since I got off B/C, so I'm hoping I am regular now. and ready for baby #1!

And a bit of your TTC/couple story. Finally started O'ing in July after getting off BC pill in May. I recently found out that my luteal phase is around 7-9 days so I may have to take clomid to lengthen my luteal phase if I don't get my BFP this cycle. I will either get AF next Monday (Aug 31) or I will wait a week to test! If it's BFN, see you in September!

And a bit of your TTC/couple story: I took my last BC pill in June so we could TTC#3. In August, I got two BFaintPositives within a day of each other. Upon having bloodwork on the third day, my dr determined I was having a chemical pg that would not stick. I experienced an early mc on the 4th day. Although chemical pg and early mc are very common (most non-TTC women aren't even aware of it because they don't test), this was a loss to our family. But, we are grateful for our two beautiful daughters and we look forward to having fun TTC again this month. This is THE BEST group of ladies!

And a bit of your TTC/couple story: Dh and I met in high school, but we started dating only 5 years later. We got married last year, and began TTC in May 2008. In October 2008, I had to stop TTC to take medication for Acne that would have given me a deformed baby. March 2009: I swallowed my last pill of the meds. April 2009: I swallowed last bcp. My husband just had his permanence at work, I am on the priority list and thus almost assured of having a job every school year, there never was a better time! Let's just hope this fits with God's Plan.

And a bit of your TTC/couple story. DH and I have been together for 15 years, married for almost 11. We've had 3 miscarriages due to low progesterone. Was put on Clomid last year, conceived on 1st round, took vaginal suppositories of progesterone entire 1st trimester to help baby "stick" and our DD was born April 2, 2009. Due to my age and prior fertility problems, my RE suggests trying for 2nd baby ASAP as it would be our best chance to conceive and also possibly avoid the low progesterone problems and subsequent miscarriages. I was breastfeeding but stopped after 3 months so that fertility could return. I believe my cycle is still trying to regulate itself and I fear conception may take a while.

And a bit of your ttc/couple story: DH & I met in high school, but never dated. We were in the same group of friends. I went to his house for a 2000 New Year's Eve Party. We started talking the next day. I always thought he was a "bad boy" & he thought I was out of his league. He has a heart of gold. I moved in only 2 weeks after dating. Daring I know, but I always trust my gut. And my gut was correct, again!!! We've been together for 9 years & married for 4 years. A little TTC story...not much info. I've been on BCP since 10th grade. Never took a break from them. After about 2 years on them, I became hypertensive(160/106). Got on several meds to bring it down. I have a strong family history of ruptured thoracic aortic anurysems. My blood pressure does have to stay down b/c my aorta is on the upper limits of the size it should be for my age. This past October we decided I should stop taking them to see what my body would do. Blood pressure went down to normal! Yay, no more pills!!! Well, it went back up this past 2 months. OB/GYN put me on a pill that would be safe for a baby. DH & I have been TTC since end of June. I use OPK & temp. This is the 1st cycle for using the OV Watch. ~*~*~*Baby Dust~*~*~*~*

I'm currently in the 2ww of my 4th cycle and will test on 9/1. I'm also currently having issues with extremely (like not sleeping b/c of it) sore bbs, being a pee machine, cramps, back aches, bleeding gums, oh, and ice cream cravings (DH took me on a rare trip to Baskin Robins last night!).

And a bit of your TTC/couple story. Me and DH have been "together" for about 5 years and married 3. We got pregnant the VERY 1st TIME we were together and have a 4 year old daughter. I got my IUD out in Jan '09 and really thought it was going to happen right away....boy was I wrong. We have done 2 IUI and no success. I got a call from my RE the day I got BRB to tell me that my blood test was negative which I already knew...duh. They asked where they could call in my clomid and I declined. I said I was tired of the disappointment every month so I was going to leave it in God's hands.

DH and I miscarried in July 2005 at 12 weeks, but then had our wonderful DD named Rylee Jo in Sept 2006. She’s the light of my life. I still cannot believe I played a role in creating something so perfect… We got pregnant again in early November of 2008 with our second daughter Faith Alaire, but lost her at 22 weeks to late diagnosed Trisomy 18 and severe physical defects (absolutely heartbroken still). DH and I wear some of her ashes in crosses around our necks to always have her near though.

About us: My DH and I met at work, very lovesick moment, met eye, felt like I got punched in the stomach and we are now married 3 years later. I can't believe how ready I am to have a baby and I know he is too. He is SO good with children. sometimes he's a big kid himself! hahahaha! We can't wait to start this wild adventure. I just bought "What to expect when expecting" and "Belly Laughs".. I am halfway through Belly Laughs, man that Jenny McCarthy is straightforward - no holds barred (sp?). And a bit of your TTC/couple story: We have been together for about 5 years now, no plans for marriage as neither of us are "marriage type" (no offense to anyone). I am a registered nurse and work on a maternity/Gynecology ward and also have experience in Labor and delivery. I recently started teaching pre-natal classes as well. BF is a Realtor. We decided to start TTC shortly after I finished University, took my last BC pill in March 09 and started actively trying in May. No luck yet but I have a feeling about this month, my cyles are pretty regular and I have been using OPK's to time BDing. I think I had implantation bleeding the day before yesterday and have been very tired lately and have had mild cramps for a few days now. I have been following this group for a few months now just haven't joined in until now. We haven't made public that we are TTC so it would be nice to be able to talk about it with other people who understand. Hope this is the month!

And a bit of your ttc/couple story (You can just copy paste from last time if you want to)
I have been married to the sweetest and most patient man in this world - and we are TTC our first baby. My dh and I got married in our early twenties and were looking forward to our future together – we both wanted babies, and God did in fact blessed us with a pregnancy earlier this year (March 2009) but it resulted in a miscarriage on 11-Apr-09 at 6.5 weeks. So when we do get pregnant again, this will be pregnancy #2 - but baby #1 – and we are so excited and looking forward to this miracle. I have been diagnosed with having PCOS but we have been trying (off-and-on) for the last two + years but actively and vigorously for the past year. Good luck to all TTC …

You're trying for baby # 2
This is cycle # 3 (#4 in 2 weeks)
Your possible testing date/AF due: I'm thinking September 4th
And a bit of your TTC/couple story. DH and I met through our roommates who were dating. He is originally from Ireland (accent and all), so it was only fitting that we met on St. Patrick's Day. We married August 14, 2005 and conceived our now 3yr old daughter 6 weeks after we got married. This June I finished my last BC pack and had a normal AF and started trying the 26th, 28th, 30th, and 2nd. I thought that was pretty efficient. Unfortunately, AF reared her ugly face. The next month AF showed up 5 days early. Ready to go again! I'm also a teacher (Kindergarten), so I'm trying to time it with the upcoming school year.
AF was really wicked last month and a lot of our BFPs turned into little angels. We hope she will show mercy this month.
Good luck and babydust to all TTC!

bleeding, but I'm not going to count on it. I can't start AF now this
only what CD 22? That would be a problem.

The part that is crappiest (if that's a word) is that my SIL just sent a pic of her newborn.
Again, I don't really care that there's a new baby, and I refuse to make the trip home to hear "When are you and Jeff going to have a baby?" "Doesn't this make you want a baby?" DH thinks I'm being "emotional" and "over-reacting". I think he's being too inconsiderate and needs to put my feelings about his sister. I'm dreading the call from my MIL-- "When are you coming to see the baby?" My first response could just be, "Not any time soon." It isn't like they'll come when we have a kid anyway. They're very much "all about me" people-- not to mention that they would want to stay at our house, and there's no way I'd be sane with a newborn, a house full of adults, and two kids. I don't want to sound mean, but I'm extremely apathetic about the entire thing. Her DH doesn't have a job. They earned (after taxes) only $18,000 last year and chose to have another kid. It just isn't fair that someone who can't really care for their kids gets to have kids while others who could give their kids the world are keep missing the boat. // I don't mean to drag anyone down, but it's just really frustrating!Sun Aug 30, 2009 5:57 pm

I am new. I will be testing the first week of September. Hoping AF does not come. Problem is not sure when to actually expect her. Before m/c I was very regular at 28 days, last 2 cycles have been 31 days. So I am anxiously waiting. We used a OPK this month. Having some symptoms but I am afraid to get my hopes up.

I introduced myself early last week but since then I was having trouble signing on for some reason. I hope I figured it out now

Hoppy: I know exactly how you are feeling about SIL. When mine had her baby I cried! I cried because I was sad and happy. I was really sad because I wanted a baby so much. And then I cried because I felt guilty for being so upset. But I also cried because I was happy for her and her DH. I don't think you are being emotional or overreacting. We can't help how we feel. And some days are harder than others.
Me: I need some advice. I am starting OPKs this month. I was wondering if anyone could give me some pointers so I get the most accurate reading. My cycles have been so off for the past year that I realize I need some help to pinpoint O. Also I'm already worried about BDing this month. If I O when I think I'm going to, I'm not sure DH is going to be around too much. I think O might be later this week and DH is going to be working late every night this week! I had such a good feeling about this month but now I don't know.... I guess I should stop freaking out and just see what the OPKs say.

I went out side and called my mom and cryed for an hr. And now ppl are asking if there is something wrong with us cause we aren't pregnant yet.... :'( Once again DH's brother is going to rub it in our faces that they are pregnant before us, arg! But this time I'm not going to keep my mouth closed!
Sorry I just can't believe this is happening again... I just want to go out back and someone shoot me... I can't take it right now.
On top of it all - My grandpa who lives in BC - was having a triple bypass done on thurday, all went good then friday his lungs stoped working but he is fine now. If nothing less happens then he can go home on Wed. Here's hoping!!
I'm only one 9dpo and my temp droped yesterday and today kinda spotting but not really, its off and on. I'm going to the doctor's on tuesday to talk about my cycle. Hoping he will help out!
Well I should go make dinner I'll be back later on.... thanks for listening ladies

I tested first thing in the morning and in the the afternoon. Basically every 12 hrs. My positive OPK had a fade in effect. The line got darker and darker and the positive day was when the line was darker than the reference line. At that point I stopped POAS and determined I would probably O within 36 hrs. Testing every 12 hours dimishes the amount of time you may be off, in my opinion. Anyway, I hope this helps!

Tina: I'm hoping your temp goes back up and the spotting stops. I really hate the spotting.
Hoppy: Do you normally spot before AF comes?
Me: I went to the park with DH and DD. We ran around and played with kite. When I got home I thought for sure I would have more spotting from the exercize, but there was nothing. I guess only time will tell.

All others, you are in my prayers, sorry been reading but didnt have the focus to do persos...
Me - well i think the 'process' is about to really start, TMI ALERT...
I started getting blood tinged discharge last night, and am having even worse cramps, not that i thought this would be possible... so i am off to see the Dr again, as i didnt think it was meant to take this long, i am sooooo confused, and just want it over, so we can get a plan and start again...
Dh's granny had her surgery, but given her age and how frail she already was we are praying it wont all be too much for her...
Thank you for your prayers,
thats all for me today...
love and God Bless,
xo
