I was sent home from the hospital with Steri-strips over my incision site. The discharge nurse told me they'd fall off on their own but in my paperwork it says I can take them off in a week (which is today). Anyone else have Steri-Strips and did you wait for them to fall off or did you take them off yourself?? Thanks!!

I let them fall off. When parts would roll up a bit I would trim them but I basically just let them come off.

I left mine alone. At my 2 week PP check up, my OB removed them. I asked if I should/could have. He said it didn't matter, some people do, some don't

I went to my dr a week PP. I left mine alone as well.

My doctor put steri-strips on after my staples came out and told me to remove them on the day I was coming in for my two week check.

my dr told me to go ahead and pull them off if they were coming off but not to pull them off if they were still mostly attached. i ended up pulling them off over the course of about a week...whenever the edges started to curl up, i pulled that one off until they were all off.

I left mine alone until 2 weeks pp, there were a couple left so I removed them.

I had them. I let them just fall off. I had I think 2 that were stubber and would not fall off after a month so I just took them off myself while I was in the shower.

I had steri strips and let them be. You can trim them any corners/edges that start to come off but I would just let them be. JM(personal)O.

Most of mine fell off by day #5 so I can't help you...you could call the dr's office and ask if your concerned.

I had a 2 week check-up and the Dr. took off a few and said I could take them all off at that point.

I had my c-section on Dec. 17th and my nurse said they will fall off, not sure when. So mine are still there, i go for my incision check tomorrow.
