Then I felt very very very light cramps mostly on the left side. I still feel the cramps, I'm still heavy and bloated. I'm so tired. But I couldn't have ovulated that soon, could I? I DID have a "oh whatever, I'm not going to worry about a pregnancy until AF is late" mentality but then I felt heavy/bloated/twinges and now I'm freaking out! I keep telling myself it's all in my head and maybe it is. Hopefully AF comes the week of Thanksgiving and I can be relieved and feel stupid about posting this lol! But that's a very long wait and I'm going crazy worrying.

I had just given her some motrin this afternoon, it had started to work because she was playing and acting normal. I had to use the bathroom, so she was in there with me, she was just walking around like she always does, then I heard a bonk on the bathtub. Well (still sitting on the pot, mind you) I scooped her up because she fell between the toilet and the tub, and her mouth was pouring blood! Strangely enough I didn't panic, but I kinda wondered what I was going to do since I was still on the toilet. Luckily there was a wash rag within reach so I grabbed it and tried to sop up the blood, mouths bleed a lot even if they are minor cuts! I had to put her down so I could pull my own pants up, and she did not like that one bit. Anyway, she wouldn't let me look at it so I just kept the rag on it and went and got a popscicle. She loved that, and it was the only way I was going to be able to get ice on it. It was still bleeding, but it had slowed way down. Well, in most kids a bumped, bloody lip would be just that, but remember, Macey had a cleft lip repair 11 months ago. Well, wouldn't you know, the cut is on the side of the cleft repair. I still do not know if it is in her lip, or her gums or if she bumped her teeth and they got pushed up or back. I already called the surgeon and they said that as long as it is not deformed from the outside she should be fine. Shew!
After she ate about half of the popscicle, she wanted to nurse and go to sleep, and that is where she is right now. Poor baby, doesn't feel good to begin with and then gets a bloody lip. Once I get a better look at her lip I am supposed to call the surgeon back if it looks like a pretty significant gash, but since the bleeding stopped pretty quickly it probably isn't a very big cut.
That's what is going on at my house!!!

Well, we are back from vacation and getting into the swing of things. I had so many to do's this week. Laura had a wasp bite while on a cruise and we took her to a doctor. 5 minutes later and a dose of Benadril, we were 136$ poorer. I had to submit a claim. I also called my pedi about Jenna and her constant crying / unhappyness. He refered me to a developmental pediatrician and we have an appt in December. I do not think it is anything but her personality, but i'd rather error on the side of safety. She probably also has some sensory issues.
I am so HAPPY with the public school. For years, i've heard how horrible public schools are in NY, how kids cannot read or do simple math in 3-4th grades. I am very apprehensive to send Laura to a public school. I am so happy I did. She's only been there for 3 weeks, but it is wonderful. The teacher is wonderful, the program seems very agressive. She has homework every day (good thing in our family). She likes it and she is doing much better counting and writing letters.
My DH is on a mission to find a new apt. We own a 2bd condo and we love our apt, but with 3 kids we are outgrowing it. Well, we want an eat in kitchen and the apts like that just do not exist in our area. We saw one we loved back int he spring for 1.1m. It is truly overpriced, it should really be about 800K. We were hoping they'd come down in price, but the builder is holding on. I am worried that my DH will jupm just on any apt, instead of being patient and looking for the right one. Oh, and he absolutely does not want a house, although it'd make more sense for our family.
THe project at work that I complained about for weeks has finally slowed down. The management recognized how impossible 1/1/10 delivery date was. We are now looking at late 2Q. What a relief.
Withthe time change everyone keeps waking up at 5:45am. I am ready to pull my hair out at that hour.

whittles wrote:Hey would it be too much to ask that we combine tell us/ whatever else Thursday with Tidy Thursday from now on? I know it is kind of silly but I have HUGE problems with motivation and it got me to clean my house last week... this week not so much! If everyone is okay with that I think it may be inspiring for some!
Maybe we could have Tidy Tuesday instead of Tasty Tuesday because it seems to be dragging now IMO and just keep Thursdays Tell Us Thursday.
