Had an u/s today (I am 8w5d).
Good news: we could see the baby AND the heartbeat!
Iffy news: There is a fuzzy blur of fluid/tissue.  It looks like part of the placenta broke away from the wall.  Doc said that 90% of the time it is fine, but sometimes it can lead to misscarrying.  I may start spotting and just expelling the extra blood, or it could reabsorb itself.  I have another u/s in 2 weeks although they don't suspect much will have changed by then.  It PROBABLY is fine.
But you know, after having had a loss, you get worried about every little thing.
But the good news is we saw the heartbeat, so that is a really good sign. :)
Mommy of two boys.  One lives with us and one lives in heaven.

This just in: A Baby Bean to join us in May!

I'm pretty sure that's what I had with my last pg (DS) and this pg.  I had spotting/bleeding both times...they found something on the u/s but told me not to worry about it.  I hope yours goes away and gets reabsorbed!

Glad you got to see the h/b. I'm sure you'll worry about it but seeing the h/b is a really good sign. At least they warned you that you could start bleeding so you don't panic. Gl at your next u/s

I am praying that everything goes well and you carry that baby snuggly and safe for 9 months.
