hello everyone

i was hoping some one out there would be able to help me out. im currentyl 23 weeks into my second pregnancy and with the first one i had to have a c- section....

i would like to have a vaginal birth this time around and the doctor told things are looking good for it but im sooo worried about all the risk factors and was wondering if anyone has experienced a vaginal birth after a c-section and could give me some information on how it went

I'm looking to do the same thing and I have the same concerns you do.  But I really don't want to have to heal from a c-section with an infant and a toddler.  It was hard enough with just the baby the first time around.  I'm anxious to see everyone's replies to your post.  Good luck!

I just stumbled over here and saw this post and thought I would offer you my experience.
 
I had an emergency c-section with my first because he was breech when I went into labor. I had a natural VBAC with both my 2nd and 3rd and had no complications at all. The risk of uterine rupture was extremely small. I don't know if that risk changes depending on the reason for your 1st c-section, though. I would highly recommend a VBAC if your doctor says it is safe to do so.
