Hello all:

Hope everyone is doing well. Nice to see some new faces here too!

Since its been a while, thought it would be nice to see some updates from all of us...

Anyone have any Dr. appointments scheduled or changes? anyone testing soon? (maybe some more BFPs around the corner?)

I am excited that it is fall - which means winter is around the corner. I love winter and love skiing and I hope that will all the craziness that is to come I will be able to selfishly get a few days out skiing this year.

I have a Dr. appointment on Tuesday and I am dreading the heart doppler - last appointment the Dr. could not find Baby B's heartbeat so they had to bring in the u/s machine.

I also thought I would post a recent pic - this is from last week though.....

love your bump pic!!!

appts... YES!! I am on the road to another transfer!! I have a lining check appt on Thursday this week (the 4th) and my transfer is schedule for next Wednesday, the 10th!! I am very excited, but nervous. Last month we thawed out 9, and only 5 of those made it through the thaw, and only 2 to day 5. we only have 6 left and I am terrified that they won't even make it through the thaw process. When I go in this week I will ask how often can I get an update on our littles :)

Thanks :) I have just been feeling incredibly large lately

I hope all your appointments go well next week - and wow! looks like that will be the end of the first trimester for you already!

And how fun to welcome a new baby to the family! Will you get a chance to visit?

I am glad to see you checking in. I knew your transfer was set to happen sometime this month. I wish you much success this cycle. I look forward to your updates on how everything is going.

Try not to stress too much over the doppler (I know it's hard). They never got it to work my entire pregnancy with Ailey and she was fine. Some babies are just stubborn that way.

I haven't been on in a while and just realized that this is the only board I frequent where I haven't put up a birth story, I will have to do that in a minute. Cora Analeigh was born on August 12 at 3:16 a.m. She weigh 9 pounds 8 ounces and was 21 1/2 inches long. I will post a recent picture here and a newborn one with the birth story.

I was back in the hospital 2 weeks later for a week because I had an infection around my CS incision and that was really hard on everyone, but now I am home and we are getting into a bit more of a routine.

My 2 month check up is tomorrow and I am hoping that all goes well and I am cleared for regular activity without any more post-CS issues.

Hello Ladies, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Amanda, and i am 30 years old and live in Ontario. We have a 3.5 year old little girl. We have just found out we are pregnant with our second child and are so excited. I am kinda stressed and worried though. I had a miscarriage 1 year ago, so that is always in the back of my mind. I know you have to think positive and let faith take over but how?? I am very new preg, i ovulated on the 16 of Sept. I called my midwife on monday and she has sent me for blood work this week to check my HGC levels to make sure they are doubling. I really hope this pregnancy works out. Just wondering if anyone else has been trough a miscarriage and then was preg again and how it turned out. Thanks for listening. :)

Also when i talked to my midwife she went by my last cycle and that was Aug 27 and she is telling me i am 4 weeks preg but when i go from the date i think i got preg from i am only 2 weeks. Everywhere i look says 4 weeks as well. I dont understand the first 2 weeks.

Hello and welcome and congrats on your pregnancy! Basically the first two weeks you are not really pregnant - pregnancy starts the first day of your menstrual cycle as weird as it seems.

Hope that you continue to have a healthy happy pregnancy - and of course keep us updated here on your progress!

Thanks so much. I actually got my first two blood work results back on Monday my HGC levels where 127 and then on Wed they went up to 284. So far everything seems good. It is such a relief to know they are doubling. :)

Best wishes to everyone!!

DH and I are getting very frustrated because there is so much waiting for appointments for IVF ICSI. We had our consultation appnt with the RE in early June and DH was waitlisted for a consultation appnt with the urologist (re: sperm extraction) for a long time. We finally got a consult appnt for Oct 26 but who knows how long it will take after that until he gets the appnt to have the procedure done.

So we've also booked a consult appnt (got it on Oct 26 too) with the RE again to discuss IUI with donor sperm. I would like to have that done while we are waiting for IVF ICSI. I was told that there is only about a 5% chance of getting pregnant that way at my age, but I'd feel a whole lot better to actually be trying something. And DH and I are totally fine with having a baby with the donor sperm, if it works.

Kdianne: When do you find out the results of your embryos? Getting excited for you and am thinking positive thoughts for you.

Amanda: do you have any other dr. appointments scheduled. so good to hear that things are looking good so far.

Cerilly: How frustrating that you are having to wait so long. I hope you get some news at the appointment and hopefully you can start moving forward. I look forward to your update. I tend to agree that trying something is better than waiting. And although it is a small chance of success, you can feel like you are moving forward with something - and it COULD work.

I'm not sure when I will get the first call for an update, probably not until Tuesday letting me know how many made it through the thaw the day before. I am hoping for a late Monday call though
