Seriously.... this pregnancy went really well until the last 2 weeks when I was emotionally and physically miserable. The firs 6-7 weeks post partum have been incredibly hard on me, my dd and my marriage. And I vowed I was not going to put me, dh, or our family through this again. But this weekend, dh was being super dad and super dh, and this morning I find myself wanting to ttc again.

Yes, I must truly be insane,

Wow...if you do TTC again, do you think you will do IVF again or just let it happen the traditional way?

I feel the same way :)

Mason is growing so fast and it seems like the baby days are flying by. Even through my sleep deprivation it feels like it wouldn't be the worst thing if I were to get pg again. I did go visit lots of people at my corporate office today and do look forward to going back to work. I may even go back a day or so a week when dh is home. I definitely don't want Mason in daycare before 12 weeks but dh having him a couple days a week is part of our plan once I do go back full time.

I would go through IVF again... I have 2 embryos frozen. I had an IUD placed last month, so no ttc or at least a little while. I have to wait it out-- I think this may just be crazy hormones talking now.

I told my husband about this tonight, and he said he would not be totally opposed, leaving the door wide open to the possibility, but did say still wants to think about it a little more.

How long does the IVF process take, should you decide to go forward with TTC#4?

Do you have a cut off age that you have in mind? We are almost the exact age and I find myself counting out 9 months and then 9 mo again and trying to figure out how much space I could "try" to put in between pregnancies (I am scared of back to back pregenancies and being fat the rest of my life!). But then thinking maybe not to try to prevent if/when I have our first and just let nature have her way. I would really like to be done having babies by 40/42 at the latest. DH is 8 years older than me - seriously can retire in 6 years! What are we thinking??

I would greatly appreciate Mother nature getting the process in grear soon!! :)

Feeling bloated and yucky tonight. I was crazy and did a hpt this morning at 9DPO (I know, I know) and a BFATN and now all my optimism for this cycle is fading. :/

FX and praying like crazy!

That sounds pretty exciting that he is open to it, too! Well, no rush. And with them being frozen, you don't have to worry about starting the process from stretch!

It's good that the door is wide open with your dh. If we had any frozen embies we would definitely do it but starting from scratch is just not going to happen. 3 full IVF cycles in my lifetime are definitely enough. The FET was so much easier on my body and I think it is a major factor why we actually had success this time.

Since it would be a frozen embryo transfer, I think the process would be shorter than a full fresh IVF cycle - no need to stimulate ovaries and do egg retrieval.

Ideally, I would do this by the time I am 40 - so in 2 years. But that would mean 4 kids under the age of 5 and 3 kids in diapers. FWIW, pregnancy has been a good thing for my body. I am 5'0 tall and in 2010 at the start of my pregnancy I weighed 167. It made me realize I needed to be more healthy so I could have a safe pregnancy and be healthy to raise my family. I changed my eating habits, and weighed 142 6 months after having my dd. This pregnancy, I started at 155 - _ gained over 10lbs because of fertility drugs. and am now at 138. Pregnancy does not have to mean wrecking youir body. I have just, with my dr, carefully managed my diet.

Hope to see your BFP very soon!

You don't sound crazy! Sounds to me like you really enjoy being a mom! I'm glad to hear that your hubby is open to the idea of trying again. :) I don't have any new updates just yet. My 1st doctor's appointment isn't until 1/25/13. That just can't seem to get here fast enough!

Definitely going to see how this going back to work thing goes. And then if our house sells in the next month, how the move goes. I honestly would love another child, but I will try to be smart about this, and see what changes come up in the next few months and how we all adjust to it.
