Mom of 6, almost 35 and TTC :)

Well here I am going to be 35 in March. I have 5 boys and 1 girl and thought I was done but decided I want to have one more. I kinda feel shelfish for wanting another baby after having 6 already, what do you think? My oldest os 15 and my youngest is 15 months. My only girl is 9 years old. I am super excited but nervous of what others will say but then I tell myself who cares they aren't supporting me. Anyway just wanted to get some views I guess on this...Thanks! PS another girl would be great but having had a miscarriage I would be completely happy with either as long as we are healthy!

I do not think you are selfish at all. I have 2 friends with large families. One has 10 and another has 8. I am almost 34 myself and wanting to ttc my 6th. I wish you great luck.

I think it's wonderful that you have been able to have so many children. And if you want another and are able to handle it, I think you should go ahead and try! Best wishes to you

Wanted to give an update. I went Monday morning and had my IUD removed with no complications with that however my BP was VERY high, 157/100 so the DR was a little excited about that. Had me rest before leaving his office and checked it again...it went down enough for him to feel ok about me leaving his office. So needless to say while I am giving my body a couple of months to prepare to conceive I have to watch my BP and make sure it was just a freak thing and that it doens't keep spiking that high. But anyway over all I am one step closer on conceiving, YEA so excited! Hope everyone has a VERY HAPPY VALENTINES DAY! <3 <3 <3

I really hope this happens for you. I dont know why people think that older women should not have babies.. it is frustrating to get the looks when you tell people you want a baby. and you get the reply "at your age" seriously. Im 35 and I have 3 children, daughter 10yrs, daughter 6 yrs, son 3 yrs. So why is it crazy for me to want another baby? I dont think it is. And I hope you get a BFP soon. :-)
