Starting over

Hi ladies,
I just turned 37 last month and my son, who's my one and only, will turn 18 this year and here I am about to start trying for another!! People around me think I'm crazy for wanting to start over, but I've always wanted 2 kids. I'm a bit scared though because as we all know once we hit 35 it's not so easy to get pregnant We're very hopeful and very excited though and having lots of fun trying Am I crazy??

Not crazy at all... my mom was 43 when she had my little sister. Good luck & hope you get your BFP really soon

Hi and welcome to the board. I hope all goes well with your TTC journey.

For some people it does get more difficult to conceive after 35, but I conceived my first at 35 turning 36, and it only took us 6 months, and I was not even charting, or tracking my cycles.

I don't think you are crazy at all.

I hope you get that BFP (big fat positive pregnancy test) soon.

You don't sound crazy at all! If you've always wanted 2 kids, you should definitely go for it. I wish you all the best

I am 37 and it took us about six months to get pregnant with this baby. Good luck to you.

Good luck!

I just turned 38 and I am 24 weeks today. We have been very fortunate in getting preggers quickly. My 1st and 3rd took our first time trying, My second took 5 months (our longest) and this one took our 2nd month trying. We were going off the birthing chart...the one that had our other 3 kids right...of course I can't find that exact same one again. So now everyone I look at says this is going to be a girl...we were trying for a boy...lol. We are on team green, although at the end of the appt. hubby decided he wanted to look but baby didn't want to reveal.

Welcome!

I'm 37 - will be 38 next month - and TTC our first. It's encouraging to hear the stories of other ladies that have gotten their take home babies at or around our age (my mom and sister and most of my female relatives were both done having babies by 21!).

Hope you get your BFP soon!

You are not crazy at all! If you want another one, go for it! Don't let other people rain on your parade :D I have 4 kids, from age 24 down to 10 and just found out we are pregnant again. We are over the moon excited! Child number 3 was conceived naturally at age 35 and I am now 44...again conceived naturally...so YES it can be done
