Hello ladies! It's been a long while since I've posted. I've spent the winter doing mostly nothing :( I've never gotten my momentum back after my back injury this past summer. I had a pretty depressing DR's appt last week and my blood pressure is a concern so I'm really working on getting back into regular exercise. My bike needs some work so I'm having to hold off on cycling but I'm excited to get back to riding. I finally got some cold weather gear so once I get my tires fixed I can hit the road again. I also got this cool fitness tracking arm band today! It's called a bodymedia Fit Link. I guess they use them on the biggest loser(I don't watch it but read they use them). I'm so excited to track anything that I went for a walk and played a dance game on my Kinect. So it's motivating me to do something when I can't cycle. That is big for me! Anyhow I hope all is well for everyone else.

Hi Selena!

I'm going to have to look into that Fit Link thing ... sounds interesting. My baby will be 1 next month and I'm still holding on to 15 baby pounds (strongly I might add, lol). I'm horrible at dieting and exercising, so trying to find some new ideas! I have a kinect and the dance game - maybe I'll have to see if my 5 year old will let me play ;-)

Take care! Have fun riding!!

I'm really loving this arm band! It really does seem to know when your actually working out vs. just moving around. For instance it measures Moderate activity, vigorous activity and steps. Yesterday I walked a little less than a mile and it measured the steps and counted it as moderate activity. Then I did a 35 min fitness routine on dance central. It measured the steps, counted part of the time as moderate and part as vigorous(I would have counted it all as vigorous LOL). Then this morning I cleaned the bathroom to see how it would count that. It only said I did a min of moderate activity but it measured all the steps. It also showed how much I slept last night and how long I laid down. It brings out the competitive side of you too as it measured everything I did into personal best scores(number of steps, moderate activity mins, vigorous mins, calories burned, mets, time worn on body). So I have scores to beat! I can also check my progress anytime on my smart phone. I've been working out every day since I got it!

Good for you for getting back on the bike!

Baby Eden is now 6 weeks old. I was supposed to have my postpartum check up this week but they moved it to next week. I am still having some pain in my pelvis. I got a Jeep jogger stroller from my husband's cousin and now I am waiting for some warm weather so I can try it out. I am afraid it might be too big/bulky for me. I hope not because I heard that my health club won't take the babies until they are 12 weeks old, which means I pretty much won't be able to go back until then. Ugh.

With breastfeeding I am starving all the time. My eating habits have gotten pretty poor. I am hoping to change that soon.
