Daytona

It's been on my mind since watching the race this past weekend. Maybe I'm still hyped up from a great and history making race, but I can't help but feel it's quite a usable place name, at least for my GP list. I'm looking at it as unisex right now. WDYT?

I know a little girl named Daytona. I think it works.

My parents are HUGE Nascar fans so all I think about when I hear this name is Nascar. I guess that'd be okay if you're a fan, but I could never use it.

I think the link to Nascar is pretty evident. I agree with Ariel, if you are a fan, then I think it could be a good choice. Soundwise, I think Daytona is pretty appealing as a name.

The Nascar connection doesn't bother me a bit. Dh & I have been fans for 20+ yrs... Our son Aaron's mn is Dale, after Dale Earnhardt Sr. :)

I'm leaning towards Daytona as a girls choice, rather than unisex. I'm loving the thought of a little girl with nn Day.

I think it can definitely work. Daytona though seems unisex to me, but I would prefer it on a girl.
