How long until 1st AF

Well, it looks like my post-D&C bleeding is coming to an end! It's the little bright spot in all of my sadness. When did AF return for those of you who had a D&C? I've been told from 4-8 weeks after the procedure, but hearing from you ladies would be great.

We still aren't sure if we will TTC again, but before too long we're going to have to decide to prevent or not.

Took me 5 weeks after me D & C to get AF.

Mama to McKenna and Rilee, and Angel Babies Brady (2008), Kendall (2012), and Casey (2013).

Hi Allison,

I am sorry that we both ended up here. I would have loved to stick with the September ladies. I am 11 days post miscarriage. It was natural so it actually occurred over a couple of days and I stopped bleeding about 3 days ago. I have been checked and everything is clear. I have also been tempted to take a HPT to make sure my levels are back to normal. I have heard 4-6 weeks for AF to come back. My cycles are usually 35 days so I am thinking I will be the 5-6 week type of person. I am anxious, but at the same time, we don't know if we want to try again right away or not. Timing is not the best for us now because my husband has an accounting degree so tax season is ridiculously busy for him. It is bittersweet to see a familiar face on here. I hope you and your family are doing well and you will be in my thoughts.

Hey, Kristi. My sister was keeping me updated on you, a BIG hug to you. It just flat out stinks, and I would rather use a stronger word.

I'm now almost 3 weeks post D&C and still getting +HPT...ugh. My dr told me possibly another 4 weeks until AF, and maybe longer for me because my cycles are not normal.

I so feel like every day things get a bit easier. Best wishes to you.
