Restoration Hardware has nursery furniture and bedding. It is so beautiful and so ridiculously, remarkably, incredibly expensive.

Anyone already know how you want to decorate your nursery when you get your rainbow baby? DH adamantly does not want to find out if we are having a boy or girl. I used to really disagree, but after all this waiting, I am actually starting to agree (plus it will totally drive our friends and family crazy!!) Anyways, since we probably won't find out, I think we've decided to decorate the baby's nursery in a 100 Acre Wood theme with the old fashioned classic Winnie the Pooh characters.

What's are your nursery theme ideas?

You are right. Restoration Hardware has gorgeous things for all around the house, but it is crazy ridiculous expensive!

I love the idea of being surprised by what we will be having :). The only exception is if we are having twins, in which case I'd like to know. We haven't thought about a nursery at all! We will be moving like 4 weeks before I'm due (when this IVF works, that is!) so we are going to go with the basics.... And since we'll be renting, the probability of painting, etc is most likely out of the question. However, I plan to find the cutest, most adorable bassinette, accessories, and carrier/blankies out there! :) :) :)

Oh I've thought about it alright, I've had a lot of time on my hands ;-)
We would like to have a neutral gender based room with a rainbow and bunny from an artist I found on the Internet. DH's grandma left him a very sweet baby blue on white embroidery piece will little animals which I think will look very nicely in the baby room. We hope to move in to our new home by December, and I'm hoping for a Spring baby so rainbows, bunnies, magical forest theme fits great with that season.

DH and I have been talking about this lately, only because we recently went shopping for our good friends baby shower. They don't know the sex and she's due next month. We were looking at all of the options our stores have to offer.

I am obsessed with elephants, like I think they would make the cutest nursery decor... however when we were shopping I was leaning more towards everything biege with accents of either pink or blue... Which surprised DH beacuse I'm obsessed with pink, so he thought if we were to have a girl it would be pink everything...

I am totally excited for that aspect of having a baby too!

I'll have to check it out! Didn't know they had nursery stuff!!!

I have no idea what I want to do for a nursery with my next baby! If it's another boy I really like my current nursery theme of "little prince", but since it's my current DS's room I would feel boring to duplicate it... so maybe dinosaurs or something? For a girl I just want it to be SUPER girly. Pink and frilly everywhere!

I have thought so much about a theme....but i want to go with more solid colors and decorative accents to match. Boy will def be green and yellow with john deere accents and a girl will be pink and black with zebra accents. Other than that...i want the room to ve able to accomodate things they like as they grow and i feel like doin solids will allow me to make easy changes bc i can never puck an idea and stick to it.

I'm trying for a rainbow too, and have been thinking about this-last time we didn't dare even look at stuff, but I wanted to do black and white floral prints with lipstick pink for a girl or a plaid madras and robot theme for a boy. I suppose I will go with similar ideas... but, of course, this will all change countless times :)
