Ovulate twice??

Hi Ladies,

So I need your opinion as I'm really confused. Saturday was CD10 and that evening I got a smiley on my digi OPK. We didn't get to BD that night as I was super sick to my stomach. We did BD the next morning though. I was a little taken back because I have never O'ed that early and had no EWCM or anything. Only thing i did have was a slight tinge of pain on my right side. We had hoped to BD again Sunday night but ran out of time because I had an early morning flight and had to be up at 2:00am. So here I am in San Fran and noticed some EWCM today when I wiped so decided to take an OPK as i brought them with me. I got another smiley (which is 3 days later). Is that possible? I'm so confused. In two years I've never gotten 2 positives days apart like that. Likei said, I have the EWCM but now no side pain. I get back home late tomorrow night and will make sure we BD but I have no clue what to go by.

Sometimes our bodies gear up to O, but don't O for one reason or another. It sounds like that might be the case for you! Hope you catch your eggie when you get home!! Have fun in San Fran, I use to live just outside from there. Great city, beautiful weather, and killer food! Best of luck to you!

Last month I got 4-5 days or positive OPKs. When I asked my obgyn about it she said that it could either mean I hyperovulated or my hormone level continued to rise for several days.

Agreed. Sometimes you'll have an LH surge, not ovulate and so your body will surge again. It IS possible to ovulate two eggs (in the case of natural fraternal twins) though rare.

This exactly, it happens to me a few times a year. Check out this months chart and it happened there.
