Debating #4..

We have twin boys who are 5 (9/30/07) and a 3 year old son (9/22/09) they might as well be triplets, my youngest successfully skipped all the baby stuff and little kid stuff and wants to be JUST LIKE his brothers it's great to see them so close not only in age but their love is just adorable!!! (My husband and i April Fools'd everyone we were having twins and 9 days later found out... Sure enough, it was Twins) it was an easy easy pregnancy, easy csection, I was up and running the next day in real jeans... When I had our youngest, oh man, it took me a few MONTHS to jump back into things.. Thats a def factor into the whole, do we wanna have one more or no? This would be my third csection.. & everyone has been asking "are you going to try for a girl?" I mean we have three boys, I was hoping one of the three would have been a girl and the last several months i have been OBSESSING over having a baby, I want a daughter so bad, but obviously there's a chance it'll be another boy haha been there done that THREE times... I also, find myself thinking "what's everyone gonna think if we have a 4th child?" I shut that down with "who cares, it's OUR life" but I don't know anyone (friends or family) with FOUR... just wondering those who have four, what was your deciding factor to have a 4th?


Is anyone else battling with themselves over having that 4th child??? My husband is on board and our sons are old enough i think that NOW would be the time, any longer and I'm gonna love the freedom of having "older younger" kids... Just curious to know what anyone else thinks or if they're going thru this or went thru it...

I have 4 children. My oldest is a 15yr old girl. My sons are 10 and 9(16 months apart so felt like twins often). Our youngest is a 6yr old girl. We also had a 5th child but he passed away at 5 1/2 wks old. I always knew I wanted alot of kids(there is a large parent board on BZ under the parenting area also). When DH and I meet we said we wanted 3 daughters. No boys for us(dh is youngest of 3 boys). When our first was 2yrs old the baby bug bit me. We tried and got lucky. We thought maybe 2 was enough. But deep down I wanted more. I wanted another girl badly. My oldest is a tom boy and I wanted a girly girl to dress up pretty.lol. Well we said one more but not trying til our oldest was 1yr. Well a month after saying that we found out my "flu" was actually suprise baby 3(funny enough I got pregnant April 1st). I knew second the 2 lines showed that the baby would be a boy. For awhile we thought our family was complete. But the baby bug bit me again and we tried for another. When we got our second daughter(did not know gender til born) we were so happy.We plan to have one more child. Hopefully ttc in May of this year. ... That being said not many people understand why people want more then one or 2 kids. SO be prepared for snide remarks from some. Our families where not happy about any of my pregnancies. Sure they love my kids. But I had to battle alot. My next pregnancy I will share with friends. But family it will be much later. For me I do not feel my family is complete yet. I always said 6 kids was the number that felt right to me.
