Just started TTC #3. My first pregnancy was devastating, several ultrasounds emergency d&c no spotting or bleeding 8 weeks and in maternity clothes. Partial molar pregnancy.
High risk after waiting and making sure I hit 0 I finally I got Prego w/my son. Went on bed rest at 27 weeks matria healthcare contraction machine on couch. Every 8 contractions in a hour back to the hospital. I was on the terbuline pump, FedEx sent me syringes and insert needle in thigh for terbuline pump. Born premie at 35 weeks breach emergency c section. Spent 6 days in hospital rough recovery (allergic reaction to morphine) and he spent 13 days in NICU
My daughter was born 29 months to the day later. Started terbuline orally but they had me stop it bc it was recalled mothers were dying. Started P17 shots for preterm labor at 16 weeks they are awful. Went into preterm labor at 23 weeks was on bed rest and spent a lot of time in and out of hospital
But it helped she was born at 39 weeks via c section
Recovery rough uterus infection and infection where they cut immediately 5 days in hospital
Anemic with both pregnancies and took two iron pills a day
My DH & I get nervous of another molar pregnancy
Anyone go through something similar? I'm hoping this 3rd pregnancy will be easier

I have never had a molar pregnancy. But I do tend to have a misscarraige before every sucessful pregnancy. I have been high risk since my 3rd pregnancy when i developed HELLP syndrome. I tend to get pre-term labor around 19-20wks. I just put myself on bedrest around then. I will say that my 4th and 5th pregnancies were easier. But they were still rough for me.I would suggest talking to your doctor though to see if they want you to do anything given past history. I would get your iron checked now also that way you can start pre-natals and iron if needed. it is suggested to start pre-natals 3 months before ttc or atleast right away. I wish you luck.

Holy smokes you have been through a lot to get your little ones. I can only imagine your fears of another hard pregnancy, just shows how much you want another little one to potentially go through it all again.

I have never had a molar pregnancy, but I have had an ectopic, and the two times I have been pg since (ended in loss) I was petrified it would be another ectopic.

Good luck and I hope things go much easier for you this time around.

Thanks for your responses I am taking a prenatal with dha and took iron until July when I stopped breastfeeding then my iron level was ok but will get it tested again when I get prego
Sorry for your losses and I appreciate you both sharing your stories with me. I'm sure ill be on p17 shots and bedrest due to my high risk pregnancies.
Keep me updated on you guys :)

My fourth pregnancy was a complete molar pregnancy. Mine was misdiagnosed as an ectopic first so I had surgery to look at my tubes first. When they saw they were clear they did a d and c thinking it was a regular m/c. I kept getting sicker and sicker and was in pain with heavy bleeding over a couple of weeks so they finally figured out that it was a molar and had grown back so I had another surgery to remove it. After that long awful ordeal I was pretty scared to TTC and get pregnant again. We wanted a baby so badly that once we were cleared several months later that we went ahead and TTC. We ended up having a healthy baby boy. It was hard until I had that first u/s but worth it. I hope every thing goes smoothly for you and you have another full term healthy baby :)
