So how many of us have our babies sleeping in their cribs? Carley sleeps great in both the bassinet in our room and her crib in her room....Mama is just having trouble letting go since this is our last one! Anyone else in the same boat!? This too shall pass but boy sometimes I get teary letting her sleep in her crib...so the next night I keep her in our room! Atleast the kiddo adapts! :)

Shane is both. He will nap for at least two naps in his crib, but at night he is in my room in the bassinet. He would be in bed with me but DH has PTSD so co sleeping isn't an option :( I will let him sleep in his crib at night when he starts STTN. I'm too lazy to get up and get him ;)

TJ only has a crib but there is no harm in letting her sleep in your room ;0)

A.J. only has a playpen bassinet to sleep in and it is in our room since we only have a 2 bedroom house and my 13 yo son needs his own room. It will probably be this way for the first year or so of his life until we can find a 3 br in our price range.

Vinnie slept in our room for the first month then I decided it was time for his crib and to be honnest, he doesn't like it! As soon as he realise he's alone, he starts crying. Although for the past 2 nights, he's been doing better!

lil lux is sleeping in her bassinet/swing in our room. we live with my in laws, and there isn't any other room for her to be in. but hopefully we will be buying our own house soon enough. but i am unsure of if i will leave her alone in her own room. i have grown quite attached to being so close to her. and being able to tend to her ever need at this young age. so i may end up sleeping with her in her room for a few weeks.

the main issue would be my DH getting enough sleep for work. he is lucky to get 5-6 hours right now. but thankfully he takes the train to work, so no need for sleepy driving. so i don't think he will mind an empty bed for a few weeks.

he works early, has to wake up at 5:15am, so he has to go to bed around 9:30pm for a good nights rest. even if i feed her and get her to sleep outside of the room, at best she only sleeps for 4-6 hours at night, which is wonderful for her age, but doesn't give him a lot to work with, and by that time of night i can't take her out of the room if she is fussy. my in laws swear its ok, but my bro in law likes to make a stink if she wakes up the whole house. i kinda agree with him, considering there are other people who had to wake up early for work the next day.

i want her to be independent but also know momma or dada is always within an ear's distance to her cries.

Kat sleeps in her crib in our room. When she's 6 months old, she'll move to her own room. My older 2 did the same thing :)
I've sort of been creating a bad habit of letting her nap on me during the day... She's my last too, so I don't wanna let go! lol

having last baby syndrome too I think. LO is co-sleeping most of the time. It is just easier on us to have her STTN mostly than it is for me to let her cry in her crib.

Benjie has been sleeping in his bed for about a month now. Prior to that he was co sleeping in the bed with me (DH slept on the floor during that time period) and he got worse and worse about wanting to nurse all night. After 2 or 3 nights of him nursing on me constantly through the night I put him in the crib the next night and to my surprise he only cried about 10 mins and went to sleep! Now he always sleeps in his crib for naps and at night, and we both sleep much better. I also get to use the angelcare monitor when he is in the crib, so it helps me sleep more soundly without always waking and checking if he's breathing, which I did constantly when he was in bed with me.

I also wanted to add he can go up to 8 hours sleeping without waking me to feed him!
