We should do a top 10

Because we haven't in a while and I need to figure out what mine are!

So I'll let the rest of you step up first while I decide what to list. But, you can either do 10 boys and 10 girls or, if you don't want to, just do 5 girls and 5 boys. But your favorite names. I think, make yourself work and do combos. Just because I like to see what sorts of pairs people come up with.

Plus, we have some newbies and though they've shared a few names, I don't know that I've seen a top ten in a while.

Laurie, I love Lila Roisin and Tessa Evangeline, those would get my vote. I think Lila Roisin is my fave from your list. Just had to get that out.

I'm glad you did. It helps me to read through people's list and besides, you never know, you might decide to stick with some of them. I can't imagine your list without Carys!

Ezra Lukas (which I'm sure you're all bored of by now lol) - I don't pay attention well because I totally did not remember this as one of your combos and it seemed totally new to me! just wait, you'll be old someday.
Declan Hayes - um, gorgeous (though I'm such a sucker for Hayes)

all the girl combos are so beautiful, but I liked these in particular

I cannot for the life of me remember where I put my entire list of names, so I only put some that I could remember. I was hoping to do 10 for each though. And I put how I prn some of the names that could be hard to prn. :]

I think Isla Serephine is pretty great, too! It's one I will definitely have to hang on to. And, I very much prefer Declan Hayes! Only in the event that I have 10 boys will that get changed Lets hope that never happens... for more than one reason, haha

It's hard for me to narrow my girls' list down to 10 (I am comfortable with my top 20, but can't cut any of them!) and it's tough for me to think of 10 boys' names that I like at all.

This is mostly mix & match, and I had to try really hard to get 10 for each. It was fun, but I don't know if I'd call this a true top 10. I haven't thought much past a top 5 for fns lately.

I thought I had made it up one night, but after researching it I found out it's Indian. As for Cyril, it is unusual partly because it's a boy name. I couldn't think of a good mn to go with Avika, but I happened to remember Cyril and thought "Hey! That sounds pretty cool!" So I went with it. I think it flows well with Avika.

Delitt, I don't think I can ever get Sean on board with India Zoey Elise, he says India is a country not a name, Zoey is too childish and Elise is an old lady's name. Tenley is the only trendy name that I like, it is so mismatched with the other names on my list.

I'm glad that you think Jonah Kai Grayson is handsome, I have been falling out of love with it, but I think I may just keep it.

That's cool. I actually do like Lewis, I just meant that I liked the Thomas Arthur part the most. And I hear you on being able to come up with 2 mns. I've been struggling with these girl combos. I think I just need 2 more girls. Though, I came up with ten girl combos, then promptly erased all but 1! And even if I love a combo for someone else's list, that doesn't necessarily make it just right to be in the top ten of mine. So hard!

Oh, I understand. But I figured for those of us with less than 10 it might make us start thinking about it and for those with more than 10, they have to then figure out which ones they really like best.

You always have the most interesting names on your list. My sister was suggesting names to my cousin and she said things like Ariadne nn Ari and Eleanor nn Nellie and I just laughed because they will use something like Brinley. She needs a cousin Lucy that she can suggest these things to.

Leire Eulalia - this is my favorite of your girls, Leire is so amazing and that you found the perfect name to go with Eulalia is just miraculous.

Marius Caspar - equally glad to see Marius and Caspar on your list. I hadn't thought about it, but Caspar is totally doable as a mn. I'm going to have to think about that.
Ephraim Joanes - this is so cool to me, I forget if you say 'ee from' or 'eff rum'

I'm not wholly opposed to invented names. Some I don't like because they sound made up, but some I think, cool.

Well, India is a country name. But I grew up on Gone With the Wind and even though she's a rather unpleasant character, I just always loved that. Is Elise an old lady name where you live? That surprised me. It is not an old lady name around here. Zoey is rather youthful, but it's one in three names. It's great. I say keep Jonah Kai Grayson but I hear you on getting bored with a name. Sometimes you need a change. You can always come back to it later. It's what I've been doing.

I know I've posted a ton on this thread, but I wanted to comment on everyone's top ten and then reply to what you said.

But finally, I worked on it and came up with mine. The boys were a piece of cake, since I'd already come up with 20 and just had to decide which were my favorites. The girls were work! We'll see what sticks. I'm happy with them for now though. The boy names are in the order I like them, pretty much. The girls. The order I came up with them! On pronunciation: Sarai (suh rye), Liessa (lee ay suh), Gwenllian (gwen hthlee un, on a lazy day, gwen hlee un, on a particularly American day 'gwen lee un'), Maia (may-uh, not my-uh)

Avika normally is pronounced "Ah-vee-kuh," but when I "made it up" I prn'd it "av-ih-kuh" so I prefer it that way. As for Cyril, I say "sear-uhl." And yeah, I'm pretty much the same when it comes to invented names. I've invented a handful of names over the years.
