TTC after Mini Pill

Hi everyone,
I am new to the BZ boards. My husband and I recently decided to TTC. I stopped the mini pill about a week into my cycle. The entire time I was taking the pill, I was under the impression I was not ovulating. So just for fun, I took an OPK when my fertility phone app said I would ovulate and it came back positive! After some research, I found out about 50% of women on the mini pill still ovulate, and I seem to be one of them. Well my husband and I did some "baby making" 2 days before I "ovulated." Do you think I have a chance of being pregnant? I would just be shocked if I turned out pregnant RIGHT AFTER getting off the mini pill. Has anyone else had experiences like this with getting off the mini pill and finding themselves pregnant soon after?

You can definately be pregnant. I got pregnant on the mini pill. I M/C in April. 50% of women do ovulate I am one who does as well, but the way the mini pill works is it needs to be taken at the exact time every day because it makes a sticky CM that sperm cannot swim through. So even if women O the sperm cannot swim to the egg. Some will gear up to O and then nothing happens. There is no time in between taking the mini pill and stopping that you need to wait. GL!

I don't have experience with the mini pill, but I just wanted to say welcome to the TTC board! I hope your stay is short and sweet and you get your BFP soon

Welcome! I also don't have any experience personally with the mini pill but I agree with PP that it's possible you could get pg very quickly after stopping. 50% of women do ovulate on the mini, that's how my friend got pregnant by accident.
