Can Evap lines show up immediately?

Ok I caved and tested today (10dpo) and got a BFN, or so I think. I did notice a very faint skinny line that showed up right away.. One of those squint and hold it just the right way or you won't see it type of lines. Is this an evap line? I can't tell if it's blue or not. I assumed it was an evap, but don't know if those typically show up later or right away. Not getting my hopes up either way. I'll test again tomorrow. And the next day..and the next day.

I'm going to say no because evap line is a line that shows up after the pee evaporates, which it couldn't do right away. Would like to see a pic, but in my book a line within the 10 min time limit is a positive result! Update us tomorrow!

I got a similar line immediately, but mine truly disappeared by the end of the 5 min. I'm waiting to retest on Friday, but I'll be checking here in the AM for your BFP!

Thanks ladies! I'm hoping I didn't imagine the line. I know it's still early... Guess we'll see! I didn't get a bfp with my oldest son until 15 dpo and with my 2nd it was 12 or 13 dpo. I'll definitely update you!

Was the line pink? What brand test did you use? I'm anxiously awaiting your update from today's test and hoping that line got darker

No, the test was blue. It was a Target brand FRER. BFN this morning! Guess the faint line was just a fluke or a figment of my imagination. I'm only 11dpo so I'm not totally losing hope, but trying not to get my hopes up either.

I can't tell if I have any symptoms this month. I feel like every single month I haven't been pregnant, I've had tons of symptoms. Right now I am sick with a nasty cold so I guess I'm so focused on feeling yucky that I don't notice any prego symptoms aside from some bloating which I always get this time of the month anyway.

The 2 week wait is so brutal!

Agreed that wait is so tough! Catching a cold can actually be a symptom!! Your immune system may be down from being in early pregnancy! I've heard of tons of ladies who got sick right before or after getting a BFP!! I'm hoping this is an early symptom for you

I've heard that too about cold symptoms! Hoping it's true for me, but we will see. I went back and was over-analyzing everything like a crazy person and I actually think I may have ovulated a day later than my chart on FF says, in which case I would only be 10 dpo today. My crosshairs say I ovulated on a Saturday, but I went back and checked my symptoms and I actually had pretty strong ovulation pains the next day (Sunday) plus another positive OPK that day too. My temp didn't shoot up until the next day (Monday), although my temps aren't totally reliable since I haven't been able to temp at the exact same time each day. But it makes me feel better to think that maybe I am earlier than I thought? Not sure though since I did have positive OPKs for a few days in a row.
