I read on another board that if you insert a Q-Tip up to 2 days before AF is supposed to come, you can tell if AF is on her way therefore saving yourself a test.

Has anyone heard of this? I'm not really sure about this being safe.

I've never heard of this before, I like the idea of saving a test tho lol

Hum - Can't see how it would be different than putting a tampon in - as long as the Q-tip is sterile (straight from the box?). Wonder if it works??

How does it "tell" you? Doesn't sound sanitary or safe to me.

Apparently after googling (gotta love google) You swipe your cervix and it will show traces of AF coming. (I'm assuming that means blood)

Hmm not sure how sanitary it would be but I use that and cotton balls all the time around my eyes and never had an issue. So brings me to my next question: who is going o be te guinea pig ;)
