The ladies have given you somegreat info already! Are you temping and using OPKs to pinpoint O date? This can be a big help because so many woment hink they are ovulating on o around day 14, but some women (like me) don't ovulate until day 17 or 18 or sometimes even later.
As for DH's swimmers, this is the big issue we are trying to overcome. The most important things he can do to help boost his numbers and sperm health are:
-multivitamin with zinc, vitamins b12, c, d, e, and amino acids
-loose fitting undies instead of tighty-whities
-no laptops on the lap and no hot tubs or hot baths
-eliminate strenuous bike workouts (no cycling 20+ miles or mountain biking for hours)
-eat walnuts
-lots of fruit and veggies and protein
-drop the extra lbs if very overweight
-no smoking, limit drinking, and no illicit drugs
The big thing to remember is: if your DH has a lower count, these changes will take 3 months to take effect, so try to give yourselves a three month fresh start window without all the stress of TTC. Maybe these changes will help you get your BFP in 3-6 months... OR even better, hopefully you get a beautiful surprise BFP in the next few weeks!! Good luck catching that eggie
