With both of my kids I began to feel movement (at least I perceived it as such) around 14 weeks.

I don't remember where online I was reading this, but one lady was saying her doctor told her quickening does NOT happen before 22 weeks, anything before then is JUST GAS! I was like, well this guy must've got his MD from a different planet! I remember having my 18 week u/s with my first and he was so irate over the ultrasound wand he kicked it off my belly! I obviously felt that, so did the u/s tech and so did the wand come to think of it.

Anyways, I am thinking I'm feeling movement with this one now, but it is very sporadic and brief...maybe it is just gas... Anyone feeling movement yet?? Or recall when you felt movement with previous babies??

I felt my first around 16 weeks. Haven't felt anything yet with this one, but I'm still only 11 weeks. I'd love to feel it soon though, that's my favorite part of pregnancy! Also, btw, I know for a fact I was feeling mine at 16 weeks because I had an ultrasound right around that time and could see the movements I was feeling on the monitor. So that 22 weeks business is bologna!

Never heard of that 22week junk.
I can't remember when I felt DD first movement during last pregnancy, but this time I felt flutters at 14weeks & then bigger movement around the middle of week 17... now the little wiggler moves every few hours ( I'm 19wk 4 days)

This is my first time and all, but I swear I've felt movement. Yeah, idk what its supposed to feel like...but what I've been feeling every now and then is definitely something I've never felt before. Who knows, whenever I feel it I feel like a crazy person lol.

I felt my first one at about 15 weeks and my second around 16. My doctor told me that anything below the bellybutton after 12-13 weeks is more than likely baby because all of your intestines move up and it's not likely gas that low down. I *think* I've felt this one like 2 times, but it's very brief, so I'm not really couting it, lol.

so ill be 13 weeks tomorrow and i swearrrrr last night i was laying on the couch and felt a couple flutters more to my left side. and I'm almost positive it wasn't gas because my gas bubbles/cramps are usually lower. and i did some readying of course and they say that if you are on the thinner side you normally feel it earlier. i mean i won't know for certain but i go tomorrow to hear the heart beat so I'm sure shell let me know!

Baby is really low in your pelvis still...below the belly button. It is possible to feel random movement before 12 weeks. Not as common but possible. Depends on names size, tilt of uterus and placenta location. I have felt it a few random times. Low low...barely above my pubic bone point (the pt they start at when measuring your fundus).

I think 22 weeks is more around the time movement can be felt by someone on the outside.
