Hi, ladies. I used to be a member here when I was TTC for my now-DS, 18 months ago... and I'm sad to see that some of the ladies from then are still here. :(

On to my question: I'm still BFing my DS, but am checking for (and hoping for) my return to fertility, and so have been checking my CM for the first time since TTC, and find that I bleed almost every time I do. Does anyone know if this is normal after having delivered a baby vaginally? (I haven't found this problem when DTD, but I admit we haven't DTD very often since DS's arrival...) It seems to be from about 2 inches inside, as best I can tell - red blood each time.

Thanks in advance, and the very best of luck to all of you in your TTC journeys.

Good to see a post from you. I hope all is well with you and family. It does not seem like that much time has passed. I really don't have any advice, advice just wanted to say hi.

Hey girl! Nice to see you back! Well.. good for you, not for me since im still here :/ the only thing h can think is maybe somehow you are scratching yourself? Its possible your cervix is the culprit & tender or whatever from the hormones still floating around your system. If its Not, I would think about emailing your doc. Have u had a pap since giving birth?

I had a vaginal delivery and used to randomly spot up until I stopped BF a month ago...maybe it's from the hormone differences while BF? I know that DTD used to be really painful before stopping for me too...

Thanks, ladies. To me, it doesn't feel possible that it was that long ago I was first here, but DS turned 8 months old on Saturday! He's a little star, and, though I know without the help of the ladies on here I'd have had a baby eventually and it would still have been a wonderful baby, the fact I have the one I do is partly thanks to some of you, so a great big thank you from me. :)

I don't think I am scratching myself, but I am (TMI alert) kinda rummaging around in there to get the good stuff! I'm hoping it is just the hormones and not a problem, but no, I haven't had a pap smear since giving birth. I guess I should book an appointment and get checked out, just in case...

For those of you that do remember me, my little sister (the one who had a beautiful DD on her 2nd cycle of IVF) just had another failed IVF cycle. :( She's going to try a natural frozen embryo transfer using the only 2 embryos she has, which were from the successful cycle 3 years ago, but the odds are very much against her. If that doesn't work, she's going to look for an egg donor. Please keep your FX for her!

Hi Jennie!!!! It does sound like a case of a tender cervix due to hormones, especially if you are still bfing.
I can't believe your little man is 8 months old already!

Wow, your DS is already 8 months! Time really does fly by! I also don't have any advice that the ladies haven't already said, but I also wanted to say hello. Defiantly get your follow up pap though!

I hope your sister has a lucky cycle this time around! T&P to both of you!

Thanks, ladies... It's good to hear from you all... in a way... I hope you're not here for much longer, though.
