Have any of you ladies ever tried P90X or Insanity videos? Just wondering.

I haven't but have several friends who have and said the workouts are challenging. They seem to like them/the results.

Not personally because they are too hard for me, lol but my youngest daughter is doing the Insanity videos. I have to say they are working but they are tough workouts, heck just the warm-ups are rough!

She has lost 5 inches in her waist and 3 inches in her hips since she started 2 months ago.

I guess I am just a wuss. :x

Too high impact for me! I know a guy who is super into fitness and working out who does them though. He's buff. :)

Update: hahahaha. Okay I sucked at those videos. They were hard and I was okay with somethings. Did more push ups that I ever did before. I think I lasted 16 days and then i quit. It was exhausted and I could not keep up with the videos AND running everyday. It killed me because it exacerbated all my running injuries and hurt my knees with all the jumping and plyometrics. Doing the video and then trying go run 20+ miles...not good. I had to give them back the the owner of them. Maybe I can try again now that I know what I'd be getting into, and when I'm not training for a race. I can see how they would work if you go from not being very active to doing that.
