Does anyone's lower back hurt and if so, what does it feel like?
I am so nervous about my lower back pain because in the past it's always indicated something bad. I've had it for about 3 days now.
Please tell me it's normal!!

I know nothing about the lower back pain, but I've had some major gas pains over the last 2 days.

Mine started today! I was just googling it. It hurts very bad. It is worrying me because it feels like the back labor I had with dd. I have a DA today so I am going to ask

Ive had some upper back pain, mostly when I'm at work because I'm standing the whole time. But no lower back yet!

I do recommend stretching every morning though, not like stretching your arms right when you wake up, like full on stretching you'd do before a sporting event. It would probably help a little. Whenever I have back pain at work I take a break and stretch for like five minutes, makes it feel loads better. That's the number one thing they taught me in massage school, the best thing you can do for yourself is stretch every day :)

I'm the opposite. I have lower back pain when not pg and it goes away when I get in the 2nd trimester.

I had it around week 5-6. It's can be very normal. My dr said it was from the pg hormones causing your muscles to relax. Mine went away, but it was bad there for a while.

Hormonal changes are a common cause of back pain during the first trimester. To prepare for the birth and help soften the joints and ligaments in your pelvic region, your body releases up to eight time the amount of hormones than before you became pregnant. This decreases the amount of back support that your body is used to. - ModernMom: Pregnancy, "Back Pain During First Trimester Pregnancy"
