We took Conner last week for his one year check up and found out while there that he has not gained any weight since his 9 month check up. My doc did not seemed concerned about it at all and just told me he was going to be small. He is a healthy kid, eats 3 size 2 babyfoods a day, cherrios, puffs, and of course his milk and juice, he is very picky and wont eat any table food no matter how hard we try.
Did anyone else experience this at their checkup
Is this normal or ok?

Brendan did gain weight since 9 months, but my neice did not gain any weight from 9 months to 1 year. Like your dr, hers was not too concerned either. As long as your baby continues to thrive and reach developmental milestones, they all eventually catch up to each other ;-) I would just keep consistently offering the table food. It took a long time for us, I thought I'd be buying baby food forever (and he still does have some each day), but then one day he just started to prefer the "good stuff"

I'm sure that if Conner's doctor saw a concern, you would have walked out of there with a more structured plan and detailed instructions on how to ramp up his wegiht. And, if he got any longer, it could be that he did gain some weight, but it redistributed since he's taller now! Just a thought :-)

I would find it reassuring that my doctor didn't seem too concerned about it. All children just grow at different speeds.

I also noticed on the teeth counter sticky that Connor still only has 1 tooth. I believe that could be a HUGE reason he is still rejecting table food. I know when Keris only had bottom teeth she would not eat table food-- I guess she felt she couldn't chew it. Perhaps it will get better once he gets more teeth.

Landon only gained 1lb from 9 months to 1 year....since he grew 2 inches taller and started walking at 9 months we figured that his lack of weight gain was due ok since he eats like a horse! I'm sure that if your Dr isn't worried then I wouldn't be concerned :)

Casen only gained around 2 pounds. But at 9 months he was in the 15% and at 1 year he was in the 30% (I think). I'm not sure of the exact percantages, but he jumped up in the percentile range even though he only gained just short of 2 pounds. My doctor said their weight gain starts slowing down a lot when they start moving. He said not to be shocked if he doesn't gain any weight or only one or two pounds between his 12 month and 15 month check up.

sorry i'm late - but just wanted to add that your child will let you know if he's hungry, and if the doc gave no special instructions I would guess you guys will be just fine =)
